"Painting was done in conjunction with roof and gutter replacement after a hail storm. Work was done quickly and with excellent results. Two years later, the exterior painting still looks great. The fence was stained at the same time and also still looks great. I've used this contractor since and referred him to others. He's really responsive and easy to work with."

"Thomas did an excellent job in sanding, staining , and then three coats of sealer on our front door. He took time making sure that each stage was perfect. You don’t get this type of workmanship these days.. I have no hesitation in recommending him and will choose him whenever I have another project."

"Everything went great. The crew taped off the space to reduce dust, replaced the drywall, textured and painted. They cleaned up behind themselves. I couldn't be happier!"

"GREAT WORK! We have used this company for all our painting needs. Used since 2018. They recently completely redid all my kitchen and utility room cabinets including the island. Went from old stained cabinets to beautiful painted cabinets. They always take great care in taping off and using plastic to cover areas to prevent overspray and unneeded brush marks. Always on time and keep the work area clean. Our house was in terrible condition when we bought it, but with MQ’s help it is now one of the nicest houses in our area. I HIGHLY recommend MQ for all our painting needs, inside and outside!!"

"Platinum Painting was amazing! I needed cabinets painted in my kitchen and they were from the 2000 era (milky white/pink wash). Platinum Painting stripped, stained and finished the cabinets beautifully so they now match our hardwood floors."

"Outstanding!

Mr. Greg Pelt, owner of Superior Paintint Company, conducted a thorough inspection of the area of work. Explained in detail the services his company provides including how our job would be accomplished. Greg provided a detailed proposal. On the first work day Greg introduced John, the painter, then explained the job scope in detail.

John and helper Dennis were true professionals. John explained each days objectives along with upcoming goals. All work was carried out in a safe, clean and extremely efficient, effective manner. Any questions were quickly answered. All special requests were accomplished. John ensured all paint and work was done exactly according to our contract. John and Dennis were very friendly, courteous and trustworthy. All expectations was exceeded. Even with our home being two stories John's painting talents enabled him to apply an outstanding finish. He made painting so high appear to be a breeze. Dennis ensured John's safety throughout the project. John's staining work was just as beautiful. In conclusion, Greg's Superior Painting Company will be our go to contactor for all of our future painting projects. We highly recommend Superior Painting Company. Request John be assigned your project. Our twenty year old home now looks brand new thanks to Superior Painting Company. Thank you Greg, John and Dennis for such a great job.

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Whitewashing isn’t permanent, but it can last for a long, long time. When you apply it correctly or have a seasoned pro whitewash your brick, whitewashing can last for 20 to 30 years or longer. Whitewash is very durable and typically requires little maintenance, making it a great project for most DIYers.

Yes, they provide design insights that enhance space utility and visual appeal.

Wood stain does go bad, but it will last in the can for between three and six years, provided you use proper storage techniques. Storing wood stain in open containers or in extremely low or high temperatures will cause your wood stain to become unusable much more quickly. Water- and latex-based wood stains typically last for just two to four years, while oil-based wood stains can last for three to six years.

The need for a topcoat on a painted deck depends on various factors, primarily the type of paint used and your desired level of protection. Many premium deck paint formulations are self-sealing, eliminating the necessity for an additional topcoat. These paints often have built-in additives that substantially protect against moisture, UV rays, and everyday wear and tear.

The best type of paint for concrete exterior surfaces like concrete porches, steps, or walkways is high-quality exterior-grade paint with strong weather resistance. Acrylic latex blends with tiny anti-slip particles will help create an anti-slip coating for your concrete porch. This type of paint will stand up best to the elements, especially rain, snow, and ice. An exterior epoxy will also help strengthen your concrete porch.
