"The employee was very professional and seemed very knowledgable but the estimate was astronimcal for the work that needed to be done.  I am in the process of selling my house and wasn't looking for an overhaul but simply a code worthy fix to the leak.  When all was said and done, the estimate for cutting off the gas line altogether was over $700.  This was inclusive of a $393 permit pull and pressure test.  If I wanted the repair done, it was going to "require" an entire new gas line to the tune of $2800+.  I of course went for a 2nd opinion.  The other plumbers charged $70 for the permit pull and a total bill of $340.  This repair passed for inspection by both the city and the gas company.  I had used C&W previously and felt their prices were high ($550 for a new toilet) but after this I can assure you I will not be reaching out to them for services ever again.
