"Kerrville Plumbing did an all around great job removing and replacing two toilets for us.They were helpful in finding the exact, difficult to find toilets I wanted. They were helpful price they quoted was very fair. Two plumbers arrived promptly, got everything done in about an hour, and cleaned up after the installation. It was great doing business with them and I would definitely hire then again in the future."

"It was on Memorial Day > a holiday for most people and businesses. We noticed our toilets weren't flushing, and sewer gas smells were starting to occur in our bathrooms. So, we started calling local plumbers for estimate quotes, informing them of our issue. Most of them wanted to charge extra for "emergency" service and/or "holiday" service. Most quotes were very expensive. We then remembered a plumber we had used a few months back, via a contractor we were using to remodel a bathroom. He had re-plumbed the shower water lines and drain line for the new shower remodel. We were please with him then (his professionalism, price, etc.), so we thought we'd give him a try for this job. He was available immediately, and offered a good price, and did NOT charge us for an "emergency" or "holiday". He also stuck around for quite a while, after repairing our drain, to answer numerous questions we had about other plumbing projects we were considering around our home. We are very pleased with him, and will definitely use him in the future. "

If a toilet is not properly vented, you could experience issues like poor drainage, slow flushing, frequent clogs, malfunctioning traps, gurgling noises, and the release of sewer gasses. If left untreated, all of these issues could lead to longer term structural damage or (in the case of sewer gasses) harmful health side effects.
Costs depend on door material, labor, additional hardware, and whether structural modifications are needed.
One of the many benefits of a pressure-assist toilet is how long it lasts. You can expect a well-maintained one to last up to 30 years. That's five years longer than a standard gravity-fed toilet, so it can be a worthwhile investment if you’re willing to spend more on your toilet installation.
Yes, and no. Your shower, toilet, and sink all connect to the same main drain, but the secondary drains going from each fixture to the main drain are usually separate. This isn’t always the case—especially in older homes—but since toilets contain black water and showers, tubs, and sinks have grey water, toilets are more regulated and come at a greater risk of contamination. It’s best to keep these drains separate using individual waste collection for this reason.
The Thanksgiving holiday period is one of the busiest times of the year for plumbers. Both Thanksgiving Day and the day after, often called Black Friday or "Brown Friday" by plumbing professionals, see a significant increase in service requests. This is because a house full of guests, large holiday meals, and unfamiliarity with the home's plumbing can lead to clogged drains, garbage disposal issues, and sewer line backups. Outside of the holidays, the busiest weekdays for plumbers are typically Monday and Tuesday, as many people discover plumbing problems over the weekend but wait to call for service. Despite the holiday, you can rest assured that many plumbers work on Thanksgiving and Black Friday to handle the surge in emergency calls.
