"The plumbers scheduled to check our loose toilet in the master bath completed an earlier job ahead of schedule, so they called and asked if they could come earlier than the scheduled time. I said sure, and they gave me an estimate when they would arrive. When the plumbers arrived, I showed them the loose toilet and asked about how long it would take and how much it would be. (I assumed the worst case in replacing the flange, wax ring, etc.) The plumber (sorry, I forgot his name) said he needed to check it out first, but would let me know what he found out and would then be better prepared to give me an estimate. When I checked back a bit later on how everything was going, the plumber was just finishing up. He said there was no damage and that the bolts had just come loose. The wax ring was still in good shape so all he did was re-seat the toilet. He also finished off by caulking around the toilet (it was not previously caulked;) a nice touch. A fine job all around!"
