New A/C contractor said they should have tested the system first and that only the coils needed to be replaced. So disappointed and out over $500 a senior on a fixed income. Pitiful, Do not recommend."

For most systems, an annual HVAC system service is more than enough. Some homeowners prefer a twice-a-year visit to ensure the system is ready for the upcoming summer and winter seasons.
