"Alex Blaker and his team were referred to me by ADU small home sales person in Austin Tx. My project was creating additional barrier walls in a home for the PadSplit app. We had to add 3 electrical outlets, as well as connect a clothes washer that required all lines electrical and water to be ran. Alex was cordial, easy to work with and genuinely cares about the work and level of craftsmanship that goes into the project. You will meet Dario and others on his team who are incredibly polite, clean, and efficient. Project was completed in a little over a week. Budget: initial bid around $7800 + taxes, two owner approved add ons elevated the project around $600. (Plug relocation, and dryer vent routing) Payment was made in 3 payments over the life of the project. I like this as it lets you see the project be started first. Alex kept me in the loop every day and came over in person to inspect, and recommend updates to the job. Happy to work with Alex and his team and look forward to working with them on future projects!"

"My relationship with AGC began in late 2020 when I hired them to remodel our main bathroom. I wanted our bathroom to reflect 20,000 leagues under the sea theming, and they not only did a fantastic job, they were able to help with ideation and some thematic touches, like our squid shower drain! I invited them back last summer to remodel the downstairs portion of our home. It was a huge overwhelming project, including our kitc hen, dining room, living room, guest suite (with full bathroom) and half bath. In the short time between our first bathroom project and this one, they had already incorporated a lot of prior feedback and grown their team. I knew it would be a difficult project- I had an idea for cabinet doors that I could not find anywhere, I wanted a rustic theme, but not farmhouse, and I wanted to incorporate a kayak chandelier we made, and I had lots of ideas of colors, theming, etc. The cabinets ended up having to be custom made, and AGC really delivered an amazing product. During the process they continued to deliver first class service. They established the work site with a set of dust barriers, and it really helped keep our living area separate from the chaos. Everyone who came to the house was courteous and professional. Our space was treated with respect and I felt comfortable with everyone who came in. Any questions and concerns we had were not only answered quickly but addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Want makes them stand out? Communication? Certainly. Responsiveness? absolutely. But AGC goes beyond even that. They really care about delivering a great product and making sure you’re happy. We ran into snafus along the way, and AGC not only handled the issues, but they anticipated the ensuing chaos and helped us stay comfortable throughout it all. We demoed during the winter and had to get the gas turned off until we jumped through the permit hoops, and AGC made sure that we had heat and warm showers each day. "Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."
