Since we are far away cannot be on site, Alex keeps great communication with us and sent all the pictures to us after his job done. As we can see his professional job is exceeding our expectation. "Jerry Hubbard responded with a phone call while others sent automated text messages. His pricing is very reasonable and was able to start and finish the project within 2 days. I was also impressed with his flexible schedule and punctuality - I will be hiring him for future jobs and refer to friends."

Small jobs welcome

"All around excellent experience. Anthony Brown with Golden Era Remodel bid a **complete** tear out/remodel of our 1960 era main bathroom. This included removing everything down to the bare wall studs AND old tile flooring AND subflooring, including old beams and joists (our house is pier and beam). Anthony expertly rebuilt the entire bathroom including the subfloor with new beams and joists, a new wall, moving electrical and plumbing where necessary, new sheetrock, lighting fixtures, and of course, fantastic tile work. Our project was done on time and cost was exactly as the project was quoted with no surprises. We highly recommend hiring Anthony Brown/Golden Era Remodel."

Customers say: Quick response

"Our son is an architect working in Seattle, Wa. I kept in touch via the internet with him during our entire renovation. He was absolutely blown away by the quality workmanship of Daniel and his team! Everything was done right! It was such a delight having this team of workers in our home. They went about their work joyfully, but accurately. There was a constant cleanup on their part going on daily, which kept the dust to a minimum. Daniel was so easy to work with, unlike other contractors we had interviewed for our massive Reno. I am so pleased with my kitchen, walls removals, flooring, barn doors installed, fireplace with shiplap, new baseboards throughout, appliances moved to new walls, great painting, exterior door installed where there was a brick wall, and now what was once a dark 1970 home is flooded with light from all the modern can light installations! I love my home, but I do plan on having Kingdom Innovations back to redo both bathrooms in the future! I trust this company with any project needed!"

Customers say: Terrific value

In 1988 Antonio started work as a subcontractor with a company, along with others, that sold and specialized in ceramic installation on floors, showers, patios, etc. The company had contracts with residential builders that along with its expertise, built hundreds of new homes during the time the housing industry in Dallas, Forth Worth, and surrounding areas was booming. I deal directly with my customers; you don't have to go through a subcontractor! Be assured of the finished work being durable, long-lasting, and of the highest quality. All workers are reliable, and respectful of you and your home.

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

The grout shade you choose comes down to personal taste and preference. A darker grout will give you a more dramatic and noticeable contrast with the tile around it; however, lighter grout helps create a more uniform look when blending the colors together. Additionally, a darker grout combined with a patterned tile could be overwhelming to the eye, while lighter grout makes the pattern stand out as the main focus.

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all best tile for a dog shower. Consider your budget, tile durability, aesthetics, and, most importantly, practicality. Avoid tiles your dog will slide around on. Pebbles are a great non-slip option, but are pricey and tricky to install. Glass might look modern, but it’s not scratch-resistant. Small, floor-rated ceramic or porcelain tiles are economical and have many grout lines that make the surface more slip-resistant. Pick a matte finish rather than a shiny tile if you want it to hide stray mud and hairs better.

Regardless of the material, basic square tiles will never go out of style. Neutral colors like white, grey, beige, and black will always be in demand in residential and commercial settings. Certain designs, like herringbone and hexagonal patterns, are considered timeless. Porcelain and porcelain-like tiles will also never go out of style.

The rule tells you how to cut tile to install it in a corner. The 3/4/5 rule recommends that you should have 3 feet across on one straight line, four feet on the other perpendicular line, and 5 feet of length from the end of one of the lines to the other. You’re making a right triangle with the tile, and the hypotenuse (the line across from where the 3-foot lie and 4-foot line meet) should be 5 feet long.

If you’re looking for a durable tile for a shower floor, consider porcelain, stone, or vinyl tiles. Each of these options, when installed correctly, will stand up well to everything from water and moisture to the impact from a dropped bottle of body wash. These materials are also easy to clean and maintain, making them popular options for shower floors.
