- Diana Homes, Inc.We took bids on the work and Diane was competitive but not the cheapest - took a look at her prior jobs and the quality appeared to warrant going with her firm. Best decision we made ! Getting a contractor can be really a tough proposition, they may be good but their subs are not all up to par - or the subs may be good but the contractor is hard to find, always busy and not there once you sign the contract. That is not the case with Diane Builders. From the start she was helpful but not pushy - worked with us and designed the addition that we felt would work. She started on time and each one of the trades came by to talk with us and let us know what they would be able to do and how they would compete their part of the job. Each one of the trades was a complete professional at what they did, each one completed their work on time and within budget. Diane was on the job site at least once every day sometimes twice. following up - making sure it was done as expected. She would show up on Saturdays just to check up on how things were going. Quality work was demonstrated from the concrete work to the bricklayers - the folks that did the tile were the best i have seen - the shower work was showroom quality. Cabinet maker was tops, matched the existing work perfectly (actually was better quality) I strongly recommend Diane Builders for any type of contractors work you may have, our project took several months of daily activity and and all through the project she made sure we were on time, on budget and pleased with the outcome

Another contractor who was juggling projects and traveling between properties would not have been able to provide the continuous supervision and motivation the tradesmen and laborers needed to maintain high building standards and maximum productivity. The most valuable personal traits we grew to trust and in CP were his integrity and his positive attitude. Not by focusing his updates on what we wanted to hear. Not by sugar-coating bad news. Not by blaming others for problems. He always leveled with us and provided realistic solutions when there was an obstacle or any kind of blunder. If an honest, hardworking, positive person with honed communication and management skills, I highly recommend Calvin Paulsen. If you expect experience based professionalism, superior craftsmanship and excellence over all, trust the man who proved himself when he built our house. Woodscape Homes wasn't the lowest bid but it turned out to be the best value for services rendered
- Corpus Christi Brick PaversCC Brick pavers was punctual, professional, thorough and friendly. Amanda was always available for my call and Steve was great about getting back to me with answers, quotes, an in-person estimate, etc. I called a number of businesses to quote this job. Many of the ones I called have A ratings on Angies List. However, none of them seemed overly interested in doing what I knew was a 'small job'. A few vendors did respond only to be slow with a quote or crazy expensive. Steve at CC Brick Pavers was not only interested in our business and responsive, but also reasonably priced and easy to work with . They showed up a week after we signed our contract and started the job. Due to the rain, it took a little longer than we both anticipated. However, they continued to work when the rain let up long enough to allow it. The pool surround sidewalk looks great and blended beautifully with our existing patios. They cleaned up thoroughly and made sure everything was perfect before they left. I would recommend CC Brick Pavers to anyone
- BRASELTON HOMES INCThey were very friendly. They walked us through the model home and then we went a viewed some in just the frame form. They explained that we could go and meet with them and track the progress of the construction of the home. However, after looking at the floor plans they offered I wasn't impressed. Many of them had the kitchen in the back of the house so you would have to walk through the whole house with a armful of groceries from the garage. Not practical! They also don't have very open floor plans. Many of the floor plans have the entry in a hallway and then the home opens up
- Fox Home BuildersFox Home Builders were really good, it was really very good. They worked with us and walked us through everything and talked to us about everything and all that. When we had a home inspection done, they were on top of it, everything was fixed and done just the way we wanted it. I mean, they’ve been really good with the work so far
- OSCAR'S ROOFING INCOscar's roofing bid was lowest of 3 bids.I was able to add amendments to his proposal without additional charge.2 days after contract was signed,the crew showed up at 8:00 am.By 5:00pm all the old roof was removed,the rotted wood over the eaves was replaced with new plywood.New felt and new roof vents were installed. all shingles and debris was cleaned up. At 800:am the following day the crew arrived and installed new shingles and sealed around the vents. the roof was complete by noon. There was one problem with one of the vents.When i pointed out the loosened cover plate in the water heater closet, a worker fixed it immediately. Oscar signed a 5 year warranty against defects of workmanship. I didn't pay anything for the roof until it was completed

Rudy the owner, did a van tastic job of measuring out and performed excellent work along with hardwood flooring crown wood molding. It made the 700 square-foot room looks like a masterpiece. Scott the owner came to our house to give estimate and show us different products we can go with for our roof replacement. We decided to go with the Tilcor stone coated steel product with ice & water shield underlayment. They did an awesome job with the install. "Yesterday morning I noticed some water dripping down from the ceiling and a huge water ring. In addition to that, the bedroom door casing was cracked and water logged along with the sheetrock. Due to the recent storm activity, I automatically assumed it was a roof leak. I called several roofers to see if someone could come out immediately but to no avail, especially since there had been some extensive hail in the area. Ware Roofing was recommended to me by a coworker. I called them and they came out that same afternoon. After inspecting the roof, they determined it was not the roof that was leaking, it was my water heater that is in the attic. They purchased a new one and installed it the same afternoon! I couldn't be happier! They didn't ask for any money up front and they installed it for $600, including the water heater. Today, they are back and repairing my ceiling, wall and door casing for $500 including material. Extremely professional and very pleasant demeanor. I will update my review once its complete and try to get some pics of the before and after of the repairs.

"A very nice fellow came out and gave us an estimate. We had planned to do the work ourselves but because we had to get the City and TDI involved the project ballooned. We decided not to tackle replacing all the siding at once so we didn't hire them. However, you can bet they'll be the first people we call when we need this type work done. Was extremely impressed with their honesty and professionalism.
