"BEST tree trimming service I have used in 20 years. Arrived on schedule. Trimmed 5 Mexican fan palms, chipped up all the frawns, and blew them into a trailer for disposal offsite. Cleanup of trash was exceptional. Price was very reasonable. Owner and all personnel were very cooperative and competent. From start to finish, it took only one hour! Highly Recommended!!"

"They came out and assessed the job, quoted a fair price, and wasted no time scheduling the job for the weekend, and it was done in less than 2 hours. Cleaned up everything and left the yard better than they found it. Very pleased with the results."

Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

Cedar, cypress, and rubber mulch cost anywhere from $100 to $120 per cubic yard. A pro can help you determine the type of mulch most suitable for your landscaping needs.
