We are members of and certified by The National Windshield Repair Association as well as certified by Glasweld Glass Restoration Systems and Delta Kits Professional Windshield Repair Equipment company. Letting your insurance company see money go out is in our opinion not a wise decision. Regardless of what they tell you your rates after several claims could rise more than the cost of a professional repair. We offer 10% discounts for police, firemen, emergency personnel, veterans, Angie's List and Team National Members. Vehicles with DV license plates are absoluty free for one chip repair.

Bill repaired a chip on the windshield of our convertible. He did an excellent job paying close attention to the details. The repaired  windshield is absolutely perfect and you cannot tell there was ever a chip there. Bill took his time to make sure the results were excellent. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

Bill, provider owner and technician, spent over an hour repairing an average to small rock chip in my car windshield. I'm sure he would taken more time if he believed it would have resulted in a more successful repair. He's professional, well trained and most importantly a perfectionist. The chip is now almost impossible to detect.

I checked all reviews on the Internet and came across Chips Away Windshield Repair; excellent web site and excellent reviews!  I called my Insurance provider to file a claim and told them that I wanted this company to do my repair; they stated that this company was on their list as "preferred."  I called both Shirley and Bill Boone, owners, and Bill came to my home in less than 30 minutes; he is the nicest person that I've ever met and did an excellent job!  We have had this type of repair done in the past and I can say with all honesty that none were done as professionally as this one; you can barely see where the damage was.  I highly, highly recommend Chips Away Windshield Repair; you won't regret it!!

We had a rock chip on the driver's side of the windshield. We were in a bit of a time crunch to have it fixed before we left the next day for a trip. He came out to our house and repaired the chip for us.  I believe he did the best job EVER of repairing a rock chip.

Really easy to phone my insurance company and got the go ahead.  My insurance company took care of sending the approval to Chips Away.  Chips Away was great about meeting my schedule as I fell ill and had to reschedule a couple of times.  The repair location was local and convenient.  Chips Away can also go to your home or place of work if you wish. I initially tried to schedule with one of the big chip repair companies and they had a wait list of two weeks! Chips Away did a great job! Amazing- I cannot even see the chip any longer.

"(removed member name) are you sure you have the right party or price. Most of my windshield rock chip repairs run between $50.00 at our home base or maybe up to say maybe on a rare occasion to $150.00 for a long crack repair on a motor home windshield. We do not do replacements which probably run the dollar amount you noted."

Mr. Boone did a great job fixing the chips and "run" in my windshield.  He took his time and was very thorough.  The crack did not disappear, but it does look a lot better.  It looks more like a scratch now than a crack.  Mr. Boone was very friendly and helpful.

The service time went well and he cared about the quality of his work. Although he has a mobile service which was temporarily unavailable and did not matter to me at the time, 
I went to his location so that I could get the work done right away. 
I was pleased and relieved to find this service on Angie's List which served much better and higher quality than one of 
those roadside tented services.

The provider was very helpful. He came even thought it was getting late and after hours, he came anyway to make sure my daughter's car was safe to drive the next day.  He worked directly with my insurance company to obtain the correct rate.  He shared great tips to prevent greater damage from chips to the windshield.  He was very personable and a pleasure to work with.  I would highly recommend him.
