The crews showed up as planned. They were professional and did a great job. I'd use them again and recommend them.

In the space of four days I had approximately 760 sq. ft of driveway completely torn out and replaced. When finished with the driveway the forms were stripped and yard was regraded and fresh sod was laid up to the new concrete. I would recommend Flagstone Concrete to anyone wanting concrete work done.

I have used Flagstone Concrete for many Concrete and stone paving jobs as a subcontractor. Recently, they replaced a broken sidewalk and driveway section at my house. Jim always makes sure the work is done right. After watching them work, now I understand why his driveways never Crack. I would not use anyone else.

Jim and crew did a fantastic job on the slab I wanted for a new shed. The price was fair, they showed up on time, paid great attention to detail, and cleaned up much better than expected. Jim is "old school" and takes a great deal of pride in his work. I highly recommend Flagstone Concrete and will use again if any other concrete projects come up!

Great! They were very punctual, did the job as promised and cleaned up everything.

They were on time, and they stayed with in the estimate. They were very polite and friendly. They did a great job.

The company did the estimate but I was not ready to hire yet. In about two weeks I did call them and left maybe three messages before I got a call back. We made the arrangement to start on the project but a few days later I got a call telling me that we had to get a permit. I had to pay extra for the permit and the time the contractor had to spend to get it. This postponed the project for about two more weeks. Then they had other projects in line and got back to mine probably 10 days later. I am pleased with the final result. The work was done fast and looks solid. I am not sure if they should have matched the color of the cement to the old drive way. I thought it would be close in color but it turned out almost white. Maybe it was my fault since I never asked about the color. Anyway, I am just glad it is finally done.

Very well. The proprietor, Jim Ellis, handled all interactions and was always prompt and thorough with the information he gave. His crew was there when they said they would be and finished on time. We ended up with a beautiful smooth driveway. Mr. Ellis is generous with referrals and can show you many examples of his work. He isn't afraid to show you an 8 year old driveway. Flagstone Concrete will never be your low bid, but they will do what they say, and you'll deal with the person on site doing the work. Would definitely hire for other work.

We were very pleased with the job. They didn't make a big mess and cleaned up everything. They came back and laid sod along the edges of the driveway, so other than the fact that they put in a new driveway, you wouldn't know they had done excavation work on it. He did a great job.

I am very happy with the work Jim and his team did for me.  He and his staff were very professional, prompt and they executed the job on schedule.  I recently have been dealing with another concrete vendor that has been nothing short of a nightmare.  It was such a pleasure to have Jim and his team come and do exactly what they said the would do.  He and his team exceeded my expectations.  If I have another concrete job come up there is no doubt that I will call Jim first.

Mr. Ellis was great to do business with. He not only fixed the problem with my drive but he found what caused it and fixed that also.
This included changing one of the sprinkler  heads.
When the concrete and paint were dry he returned to check out the finished work and told me he was not satisified with the color of the paint after it was dry.  He returned the next day and repainted with a color that matached much better.  Even with all the extra work the original estimate stayed the same.  
Mr. Ellis and his men did great work and I will be calling them again for any other work I need to have done.

Jim Ellis is probably the best Speciality contractor I had overall among Roofers, remodelers, painters, electricians, air conditioners, etc.  Quality in material and labor.  Old fashion type contractor in getting involved with the job itself, to the details, coordinated with workers, subcontractors, truck drivers, inspectors,  etc.  in a timely matter.  Did not cut corners as I felt with some other contractors.  Did a little more thoroughly job than I expected.  Like built the special made concrete box with the steel grate, in build the new driveway 2" lower than the old one, excavated the dirt and concrete required like 5 dump trucks, hiring among the best subcontractor concrete finishers, also Mr. Ellis has his own well trained workers.  The driveway is built stronger than a normal typical way I requested.  Stronger concrete mix, rebars tied into 12' x 12' squares size, and 5" thick concrete.  The driveway is sloped for water runoff to the street,  dirt leveled back to the edges of the driveway, installed new grass along the edges and in the back yard edge of excavation.  The overall project is built with passions.
