"This is the WORST company in BRAZOS VALLEY!! DO NOT USE VENUS PEST COMPANY!!! Scott the owner is a completely arrogant and unreasonable. He told us he could charge us any price he wanted, even though though we have been with the company for 8 years. he decided to raise our quarterly rates NOT tell us and when we confronted him about it, he said "WHO CARES, what you do, go someplace else.. I don't care!" we asked him so you would rather loose $400 a year from a 8 year customer over a $40 year increase? He said "I don't need your business!" how disappointing and unethical! If you want to have your prices changed on you without your knowledge and then get treated horrible and berated and yelled at when you ask.. well.. enough said. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!"

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

High-frequency bird repellent devices are effective at driving away birds, which is their intended purpose. However, these devices also tend to have unintended negative consequences. For example, if you or your neighbors own pets, the high-pitched noise emitted by these electronic devices will cause them distress and may even make them aggressive.

Chirping noises, droppings, scratches on the walls, and stains at entries and exits are all signs that you have bats in your house or, more specifically, your attic. Because bats are nocturnal, there’s a chance that bats have already infested your home before you start to see warning signs, so don’t delay if you notice anything. If you see a bat or two at sunrise or sunset near your property, that’s another telltale sign that they could be setting up shop inside your space.

Popular nesting areas outside of a home include eaves, porches, gutters, and chimneys. However, some birds can make their way into your attic or ventilation systems. A reputable removal service will inspect your home's interior and exterior for any evidence of roosting and nesting birds while they prepare to remove them.

To keep animals out, you must prevent them from entering. As long as they can get in, the problem will persist. That said, consider making your attic less inviting using deterrents like motion-activated lights or ultrasonic devices. Additionally, keeping a well-maintained, clean, and uncluttered attic that you regularly inspect for activity may make the space less attractive to critters.

Hawk attacks on pets are rare, and they won’t target animals that outweigh them. Hawks typically weigh between one and three pounds. That means you don’t need to worry if you have a Labrador Retriever or French Bulldog. However, small cats and toy breed dogs, like Chihuahuas, are at risk. Pet attacks are more likely in winter when food is scarce or in the early summer when inexperienced young hawks are honing their hunting skills.
