"My house is over 50 years old. I have owned it for over 30 years. I doubt if anyone inspected the chimney since it was built. I wanted to convert it from gas to wood burning. As expected, the momager Daniel found some serious problems. Daniel has 15 years' experience was very detailed on what work needed to be done. They were very careful to make sure my house stayed clean while they did the work. His team was very professional and did a great job."

"I recently completed a six-month project with NRG Remodeling, and I couldn't be more impressed! The renovation of my 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, and kitchen went smoothly from start to finish. The communication was top-notch, and the team worked quickly and efficiently, all while maintaining very fair pricing. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, and the entire experience was stress-free—much smoother than I anticipated. It's rare to find such a professional and personable team, and I’m already planning my next project with them. I would absolutely recommend them for any home renovation and will definitely turn to them for future work!"

"My good friend was offshore onboard a research vessel conducting oceanographic research. He received word from his HOA that his water hadbeen turned off due to a large leak outside his house. He contacted me to see about getting it repaired and having his water turned on. I called Action Plumbing and not only did they promptly schedule an appointment, but were happy to work with me on my friend's behalf. They even agreed to bill my friend and have him submit payment upon his return. Great job Action Plumbing!

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

Safety steps include proper vent installation, connector tightness, and leak testing. A safe environment must be maintained throughout.

Appliances typically connected to a gas line include gas stoves, water heaters, furnaces, and gas fireplaces. Essentially, any appliance in your home that uses gas needs to be connected to a gas line, which connects your home with the main gas line owned and operated by your gas company.

Propane sales companies typically offer propane delivery, tank installation and maintenance, grilling refills, and emergency support for supply interruptions.

Examples include gas stoves, ovens, and water heaters. Confirm with your provider for specific items.

Yes, most states require a plumber to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. Check our state licensing tool to review the local plumber guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
