Guardian Chimney Sweep was great. She did a phenomenal job cleaning my chimney and then gave me a quick overview of things I needed to know before starting up the chimney again. She was thorough and professional and helpful.

Serviceman was right on time. Before cleaning the inside of my fireplace, as well as the gas logs, he laid a blanket down so no dust could get on my floor or furnishings. He noticed that the logs were set a little too close to the front, then adjusted the log rack so the gas could flow better through the logs. He also noted that the gas pipe was at the correct length to the logs. Next, he went outside and did an inspection of the chimney by getting on the roof. Except for a slight crack in the caulking around the cap there were no problems. The caulking was not something that required repair at this time. This serviceman was very professional in doing his job, in cleaning up after his inspection, and in the information he gave. I will call this company again.

Billy did an excellent job! The burner and chimney were ok. He rearranged the logs and the other materials in the fireplace, and he suggested a safer way of starting the fireplace. We were very happy with the work he did for us.

Guardian Chimney Sweep is an inept company when hired to replace chimney caps. The technician sent to measure the specifications of the chimney cap couldn't do it even though scaffolding was available for him to use. The stucco company employees, who owned the scaffolding, had no problems accessing the chimney cap but the employee of Guardian Chimney Sweep did! The worse part, was the rude and obnoxious behavior of Billy, the owner Of Guardian Chimney Sweep. He was extraordinarily unprofessional. The capabilities of this company are very limited. They can clean chimneys but anything beyond that is beyond their scope.

"I'm sorry but we bent over backwards, even rush ordering specialty items, to try and make you happy. Our technician that you state couldn't do it, has photos as well as measurements for the chase cover. You got angry to begin with that I would not pull the first technician from College Station to come measure when our lead technician was in your area. A chase cover was custom made over the weekend and everything from those photos and measurements. You tell us [Member Information Removed] Friday that you need it Monday. Monday you've decided to order a different cap (one which you wanted painted Friday) changed to a different cap. Your scaffolding doesn't reach the chimney without a ladder. The custom chase cover alone is over 100 lbs plus the additional items. You were told by both owners that we are doing all we can for you to meet the cost and time you wanted everything done. When that still didn't make you happy, we happily told you we would eat the cost of the custom chase but we will not deal with your outlandish demands any longer. Have a wonderful day and I really hope you get it done to your liking."

Excellent. Everyone from start to finish has been exceptional and went above and beyond with customer service. They had to locate 3 feet of flue pipe that would match the existing flue pipe which was a difficult task. They also installed 2 chimney caps;
