I hired Starr Roofing & Gutters company after getting estimates from 5 different companies. My roof for my 2-story house was 16 years old. (with original 10 years warranty). Was Very impressive and pleasant introduction and detailed explanation of product, options, insurance and prices by Starr Roofing Representative - Ray Mondro. No push, no rush, no tricks like “let me call to my supervisor”. I had enough time to think, compare, google some information. Starr Roofing company was my best choice. I liked price, material, agreement, warranty and offered add-ons. On agreed day Star Roofing’s crew showed up around 8 am and finished job in one day. Very professional and customer oriented job. After work was done crew left around 9 pm Next Morning, I looked on my fantastic brand-new roof. With the Best 50years-shingles and 25 years labor warranty. I'm very satisfied with how fast and clean they worked. It’s amazing, I did not find any screws or trash anywhere around hose, backyard or front yard. Ray Mondro was on the phone and SMS all the way to make sure my satisfaction and everything go as planned. I would recommend Starr Roofing & Gutters to all my friends and family. It went well. Ray, the Starr representative I dealt with was excellent. I've rated the price as good - but that is because it was roughly in line with the other two quotes I got. In this instance I believe it was a case of 'you get what you pay for'. I have a very high, steep roof which they managed remarkably well. Starr was patient while I waited to get an insurance adjuster to show up and then got to work promptly thereafter. One reason I chose them was that of the three highly rated roofers I got quotes from, they were the only ones willing to replace my chimney cap. There was some confusion about the route of one of the gutters but it was quickly resolved. Clean-up by the roofers was acceptable, but they did miss some nails and old shingles.

I know I could have gone cheaper, but I was trying to get the best that I could afford. I was trying to avoid having to do this again, I was going for the highest quality possible and the longest lasting. I know I could have gotten cheaper, but they were honest, they were upfront with what they were selling. I liked the way they did business.

I can't say enough about Pete and his crew. They went above and beyond anything I ever expected and the communication was excellent. My perimeter fence was hail damaged on the back and side and they re-sprayed the entire fence to avoid inconsistency - what a pleasant surprise. Where other bidders would not touch the satellite antenna, Pete did with the pre-warning that the antenna is sensitive and that his guys are not qualified to always get it back to working order. I strongly recommend Starr Roofing to anyone looking to repair or replace and will assure them of top notch workmanship and warranty.

I had a positive experience with this company from start to finish. My initial conversation was with Pete, the owner of the company. He was honest and forthright in giving information about the roofing business in general, what a warranty does and does not cover, and some advertising that could be misleading to the average consumer. I scheduled an estimate with Ray Mondro. He was on time, courteous, and again took the time to explain roofing issues that might be confusing or misleading for the homeowner. My area had significant wind damage from storms, and door to door storm chasers offering to put in insurance claims that seemed like they might be fraudulent. Ray honestly told me my roof didn't have enough damage to warrant an insurance claim, but in the long run I would be better off replacing now. I gave a B on pricing because I know there were less expensive options available, but I believe they charge a fair price for the quality of materials. The company worked around my schedule, as I wanted to be home on the day of the install because my dog is traumatized by loud noises. On the day of the install, Eleazar introduced himself and was extremely polite and considerate to ask about access to the driveway and yard. The installers worked a long day, and finished in one day. One thing that really impressed me tremendously was at the end of the day. The guys cleaned up in the yard, and did a really good job. My dog was anxious to go out in the yard, and I looked out the back window to see if they were finished. Not only had the roofer cleaned up after himself, he went the extra mile and cleaned out the dog's water bowl and refilled it, and then he watered the plants on the back porch! Nice touch, and that really warmed my heart that he added that extra attention to detail at the end of a very long day in the sun.

I'm very pleased with the work Starr Roofing did for me. The work was done quickly and exactly as we agreed on plus the cost was less than I expected. They cleaned up after themselves very well before they left. I would definitely hire them again!

amazing - from the initial inspection by Jason Joseph, to showing up on a Saturday to be here when the insurance adjuster came out to investigate my claim, tarping my chimney so my roof wouldn't leak during rare summer rains as we waited for the insurance claim to be approved, through the roof replacement while I was on vacation so I didn't have to be around for the noise and the photos of progress as it was happening, and the follow up when I got back to town. I highly recommend Starr/Matthew Lorand Roofing. Customer service and work like this just doesn't happen these days. Jason and Starr/Matthew Lorand Roofing surpassed all of my expectations and my roof looks great!

Starr Roofing did awesome work. Lyle Williams went beyond what was required of the job and painted the chimney for us with paint we provided. Lyle and Zeke were very professional and were concerned with each detail to make the repair work superbly completed.

They were able to get to my estimate and do the repairs in a timely manner. I appreciate that the person who supplied my estimate included routine roof maintenance in the estimate. My only issue is that they showed up unannounced to do the actual repairs. A phone call the day before, or even the morning of the repair would have been appreciated.

I was contacted by Steve W. very quickly after the order was placed.  He was able to come over same day, and it was a Saturday!  Twenty minutes later he was at the house.  Friendly and professional, Steve did a thorough check and some minor caulking.  He even blew leaves off that had gathered around the chimney and eaves and made sure there were no holes or loose shingles.  It was quality work, done quickly, and professionally.    I highly recommend Steve and Starr Roofing.  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ray Mondro and the Starr Roofing crew completed a roof replacement on my duplex and detached garage. This included installing a 30 year roof (Timberline HD, GAF Weather Stopper System Plus Limited Warranty) with underlying radiant barrier felt and a continuous ridge vent. They were very professional from the consultation/planning meeting to the end of the job. Ray answered all of my questions about the various roofing material options and the warranties. His crew, especially Adrian and Elizabeth, were very prompt, professional and paid attention to all details to ensure that the roof replacement went as smooth and on-schedule as possible. After the job was completed, they made sure that all debris was picked up and hauled off the property. I want to thank Ray and his crew for working so hard to complete my roof since they had to work around a very unpredictable schedule of May rain, flash floods, and thunderstorms. They started in the morning and stayed until nightfall to ensure my roof was properly installed and secure. They did such excellent work and the roof looks fabulous! I am very satisfied with the service provided by Starr Roofing, I would use them again, and I would recommend their service to others.
