"Did a good job. Got the work done quickly and efficiently, clearly explained the nature of the issue and what steps to take to prevent it from reoccurring. Quite professional work. I'll be hiring them again if I need more work done, for sure."

Small jobs welcome

"I was hoping to get a few things but the entire time was spent replacing the front door. They had to install a new frame as well so it is understandable why it took 5 total hours to get it installed,I wanted to make sure the job was done right instead of trying to save time. I have to replace the interior trim back on myself because I did not want to spend anymore money. The guy that came out was very nice and he did great work but the prices came out a bit higher than I would have liked. I was also overcharged a bit due to the math being done incorrectly but I contacted them and they said they would send me a check for the difference.

"If you’re looking for a handyman who can truly do it all, look no further! We’ve hired him for so many different projects, and every single one has been completed with incredible attention to detail and professionalism. He’s installed our basketball hoop, built furniture, hung pictures, installed electrical outlets, built custom shelves, repaired our garage doors, fixed light fixtures, and tackled countless other projects around our home. No matter what we throw his way, he always has a solution. He’s reliable, knowledgeable, efficient, and takes pride in his work. It’s such a relief to have someone you can trust to handle just about anything. Honestly, I haven’t found a project he can’t do! I recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a skilled, dependable handyman."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

The VESA mounting standard refers to the layout of the mounting holes on the back of all televisions that follow the standard. These holes appear in the same place on all TVs of a certain size. This allows the mounting bracket and hardware manufacturers to build the brackets to fit the VESA standard. Ideally, if everyone follows the VESA standard, any brand of TV should fit any brand of mounting bracket, as long as the sizes match up correctly.

Yes, drywall can hold a 50-pound TV. However, when mounting a TV, you’ll either need to attach it to wall studs or use drywall anchors. If you use anchors, make sure to buy a type that can hold at least 50 pounds. Molly bolts, threaded anchors, and toggle bolts are all good options. For extra support, you can also install a wall mounting plate with the anchors.

Professionals can provide alternatives, like using stands or no-drill mounts where applicable.

If you don’t have studs in the area where you want to install your TV mount, you may still be able to install a TV mount on drywall. The easiest way to install a mount on drywall is by using drywall anchors—but not just any plastic anchors. Choose molly bolts or toggle anchors, which have a weight capacity of around 50 pounds. For added support, consider pairing drywall anchors with a wall mounting plate. Extra heavy TVs may need to be mounted via the ceiling joists or beams.

It’s highly recommended to use studs for a TV mount. The last thing you want is to be watching your favorite show when the TV falls off the wall. Studs are much stronger than drywall and quite a bit stronger than drywall anchors but, if you can’t find the studs or there simply aren’t any where you need them, you can use drywall anchors. It’s extremely important to make sure the anchors are rated for the load of the TV. We recommend using anchors that are rated far beyond the weight of whatever you’re hanging. Our suggestion is metal drywall toggle anchors.
