"To our potential customers: This is Mateo, the "salesperson/supervisor" as this customer is referring to me. I also happen to be the company owner. I will not go into too much detail about this particular, extremely unpleasant experience for my company, but I do want to make a few points. First, most of the information provided in his review is either wrong or misleading. I cannot prove this, but I invite customers to see the other company reviews on this platform or ask me for more references. This review does not represent what RET Solutions does, or who we are. Second, this particular customer did change the scope of work on us in the middle of the project. When he did, we agreed we would adjust the cost at the end, and that we would be fair with each other. It was my mistake to trust him, as he decided to only pay us a mere $50 for that additional task, which didn't even cover basic costs, let alone any profits. That was the only reason I brought up the cost discussing to him. And yes, I did tell him that due to his injustice, the company incurred losses in that project. His reply was "that is too bad, you should have charged me when I changed the scope of work"Third, we did make a couple of minor mistakes, but fixed them to the best of our abilities. Fourth, we went above and beyond to satisfy this customer numerous requests, such as helping him load trash in his truck, changing the order in which we would originally perform our work in order for him to be more comfortable during the duration of the project. I was the one who came back once the project was complete and made sure everything was cleaned up, it was. The tape that was left there had a purpose which was to hold the wood floor until the glue fully set, the customer knew this, and understood. I personally came back a couple of weeks after the project was complete to help him move extremely heavy pieces of furniture which he had originally claimed were just a couple of light objects. This was done when the company was shut down due to the Covid-19 lockdown, but due to his persistence, and our excellent customer service, I personally went over and helped him myself not to risk my employee health. Lastly, the customer claimed that an item got lost while my guys were there, and told me we owed him $80 for it. I have never had that issue with any of the other dozens of customers we have worked with, so I know it wasn't my guys who took it, but yet, I sent him an $80 check. I just want to reiterate, we did all we could to satisfy this person. Again, I invite anybody who reads this negative review to first, realize that it is the only bad review the company has, and question it's legitimacy. What this customer is claiming does not reflect what we do or who we are. We have plenty of good references to prove it and look forward to working with fair customers and providing quality products and excellent customer service.Best, Mateo Giraldo."
