Louis was friendly, personable, and professional

Louis Huggins (the L H Company) has done work on my house several times over the years. He always does excellent work! He is skilled and knowledgeable. He carefully assesses a problem and comes up with a plan of action. I highly recommend making a list of ALL your problem areas. Some things that I thought were hopeless or too expensive to fix, Louis would find a solution for. Most recently, he installed 3-piece crown molding, as well as trimmed out many window and doors in the Craftsman style. He also was able to change my textured drywall in those window wells to a surface that was so smooth, it looked like wood casing! Other tasks included installing new ceiling fans and adjusting doors that scraped. He completely redid an interior door frame that had been built very, very crookedly. Now it’s perfect! He has also made new window screens for me and installed multiple cabinet pulls. He also changed out an exterior lock and replaced caulk for the bathroom tub. It all looks great!! On top of being an excellent handyman, Louis is also a joy to work with. He is courteous, friendly, respectful, punctual, and very professional. I feel strongly that his rates are extremely reasonable for the quality of the work. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would.

We were so grateful to find Louis. He's a super nice guy, but in a professional capacity he never disappointed. This is the second time we have used him. The first time he closed up an existing wall and created a new wall for our TV. Louis pays great attention to detail. It's abundantly clear that he not only knows what he's doing but takes great pride in providing a quality product. We trust him and will always turn to him for help with a home repair or improvement project.

Louis came over to see what the project would entail, he looked at all aspects, asked good questions and was exceedingly reliable. It was a small project but it had some small things that were involved that complicated it. Louis was very professional, he paid great attention to detail, and offered good ideas and suggestions! Louis was wonderful to work with. Always a professional, he treated my house with the upmost of respect. He is meticulous in his work. Louis painted two bedrooms in my house, one of which had a high pitched ceiling. He did a lot of preparation work including taping off, priming the walls, removing doorknobs, protecting the floors. The wall, doors, and trim painting were done excellently and he made sure that I was happy with the results. I have used his services for a few years now and I can always count on his reliability and attention to detail.

Everything went smoothly. Louis is very professional. Excellent outcome. Patched the spot and finished it to match the texture of the rest of the wall. Couldn't be better. We are completely pleased and will be calling him again.

Louis was excellent. He came on time, even called the first day to say he would be about 15 minutes late. He was meticulous in his work and kept checking to make certain handles were where I wanted them placed. He was very careful to clean up after he would drill the holes. Louis was wonderful! He was meticulous in his work and did an incredible job repairing an old hvac closet and building out shelving. He took a huge eyesore and made it a highly functional and beautiful storage area. He also removed an old unused cent from my dining room and patched it with drywall. You can’t even see where it was! I would hire him again in a second!
