It worked out well. We agreed on the scope of the job and the price and LH completed the job in 1 day. It matches well with the surrounding drywall and is very hard to tell there has been a repair.

Louis has been our go to handyman for years and I wouldn't even think of hiring anyone else. He can install or repair almost anything and is very knowledgeable in many areas of construction. Over the years he has repaired drywall, installed ceiling fans and light fixtures, repaired a wooden gate and installed a much better latch, installed baseboard and put up heavy duty shelves in our garage. He is always prompt and responsive, but most of all just a wonderful human being. Always friendly and not being done with the job until you are totally satisfied. Louis did a wonderful job patching holes in the drywall and ceiling left by the plumbers. He was careful to contain the dust mess from the work and communicated well the time he needed to complete the job. He was professional, polite, and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Louis Huggins (the L H Company) has done work on my house several times over the years. He always does excellent work! He is skilled and knowledgeable. He carefully assesses a problem and comes up with a plan of action. I highly recommend making a list of ALL your problem areas. Some things that I thought were hopeless or too expensive to fix, Louis would find a solution for. Most recently, he installed 3-piece crown molding, as well as trimmed out many window and doors in the Craftsman style. He also was able to change my textured drywall in those window wells to a surface that was so smooth, it looked like wood casing! Other tasks included installing new ceiling fans and adjusting doors that scraped. He completely redid an interior door frame that had been built very, very crookedly. Now it’s perfect! He has also made new window screens for me and installed multiple cabinet pulls. He also changed out an exterior lock and replaced caulk for the bathroom tub. It all looks great!! On top of being an excellent handyman, Louis is also a joy to work with. He is courteous, friendly, respectful, punctual, and very professional. I feel strongly that his rates are extremely reasonable for the quality of the work. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would.

Louis painted two bedrooms in my house, one of which had a high pitched ceiling. He did a lot of preparation work including taping off, priming the walls, removing doorknobs, protecting the floors. The wall, doors, and trim painting were done excellently and he made sure that I was happy with the results.
