"I wanted to tell you about the excellent, professional, exemplary service provided by the sales and installation team. All members demonstrated a very affable demeanor. The entire installation process was flawless. The team was always ready to answer questions."

"Was directed to buy the unit myself (Home Depot), they would install it. By the way, there was a sign at Home Depot that their contractors could install for $99. But Matt and his assistant came out. Very professional. They quoted $270 to install. Took all of 20 minutes. I have buyers remorse that I authorized this expense, but I had taken time off work to be home for this. Inflated pricing,"

"Andrew provided the diagnosis of problems with 2 of the HVAC units and provided both repair and replace options. We selected the replace option due to the age of the units and the cost of repair. Clark and Reese completed the installation in a day and a half. They were always professional and took great care not to damage the house in any way and to clean-up after the job was completed. We are extremely satisfied with the work and will be using Advanced for the annual inspection and seasonal maintenance."

"Perfect! Charlie came immediately, hand dug down 4' to the tank, and pumped. Inlet was full of roots, which he cleared and told us how to avoid that problem in the future. Came back a few days later and installed riser on tank lid so that digging would not be necessary. have used several service companies in the past and there's none better. He returned and did 3 more for us as a preventive measure. If he's available, we won't use anyone else!"

"Overall, it was a good experience. AAA put down a vapor barrier and installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier with sump pump. The result is that we can now use the stand-up basement/crawlspace to store things under the house without ruining them. This is the part that you need to know. The installation was not without problems. First, they broke an A/C drain pipe, second, they cut a sprinkler controller wire while running a PVC pipe. Here's my take, accidents happen but how does the business respond to these issues? Well, Donna was very quick to send her team out to correct the problems and they even paid for the damage to the sprinkler system. To me, that's top notch customer service. Any business can make a mistake, but how they handle it is the mark of a good company. Every time I lift the roll door and go into the basement now, I'm amazed at how cool and fresh the air is down there. No more mildew and no more smell."

"Today Eric Martin completed our kitchen remodel. We had him remove a wall to open up the kitchen to the living room, and created an island. We found him to be a true professional. His kept to his estimate, and we are very happy with the finished product. We have two children under 3 years old and we were worried about them getting into trouble during the renovation. Eric and his team cleaned up after they left and made sure the stove/microwave were usable through out the renovation. He was able to match our textured ceiling with such skill. We added a backsplash to our project last minute and he completed this also, paying attention to detail. We were new to the remodeling experience, and he was able to walk us through the process without any concerns. We are thankful for his expertise. We would no question recommend him to others, and if we are in need of any help in the future we will call Eric Martin Remodeling."

"I really wanted to to put in a wood burning stove in my basement to help with my heating bill, but every time it rained my basement would flood. I called the guys at Ameri-dry. They first sent out Chad, their inspector. He was very knowledgable and walked me through step by step of how they could fix my problem and their life of the structure warranty. After he did his inspection inside and out, we sat down and worked up a price and set a date for the installation. The day the installation started Barry and His crew showed up early and got right to work. They took  the time to explain to me some of the steps in the process. They worked very hard breaking concrete and digging the trench and pit. They also shored up a wall that was cracked almost the whole length by installing two steel I-beams.They finished by reconcreteing my floor and hooking up the sump pump. They hauled all the dirt and cleaned up after themselves. Barry did a walk through with me and again explained how it worked. Since then I haven't had a drop of water in my basement. I now have my wood stove and it has helped out on my heating bill."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Natural stone stinks require sealing before installation because they have a porous surface susceptible to staining and damage. Quartz is much denser than natural stone, making it non-porous and resistant to stains or absorption. Because quartz is a composite material, it doesn’t need to be sealed before daily use.

Yes, you can install an undermount sink with laminate. Installing an undermount sink with laminate countertops requires a superior adhesive to keep moisture away from the particleboard within the countertop. An undermount sink offers better hygiene since there’s no sink rim promoting bacteria growth, offers a streamlined appearance, and makes wiping away messes a breeze.

Deteriorated seals, O-rings, or gaskets are common culprits behind a leaky sink after you’ve turned off the water—especially if your sink is older than 15 years. Inspect each of these mechanisms in your sink for signs of corrosion or looseness, then replace the worn-out part to fix it. Older sinks may be worth replacing if several of the parts are worn-out.

Whether a pot filler is worth it depends on your cooking habits, budget, and kitchen layout. For avid home cooks who frequently prepare pasta, soups, or stocks, the convenience of filling large pots directly on the stove can be a significant benefit. A pot filler can also add value to a home, attracting potential buyers with its combination of luxury and utility. However, the installation can cost around $800. The return on this investment is highest in larger kitchens where the sink is far from the stove. In smaller kitchens, where the sink is nearby, a pot filler might be perceived as an unnecessary feature by some homeowners or potential buyers.

Yes, you can remove an undermount sink from granite countertops. However, it’s safest to hire a granite pro to take on this job. Your pro might have to make cuts and grind the granite to remove the sink. Plus, if you’re replacing your sink with a larger one, you’ll need your pro to enlarge the existing sink cutout in your granite.
