"They did a great job in taking down the tree near my house and cutting the branches on trees in the front and backyard near my house. They were very professional and cleaned up all the tree debris in my yard before they left. They also did a great job in grinding my tree stump a few days later! I would definitely recommend this company. Rick and Alex are very friendly and respectful of what needs to be done. They handled everything quickly and professionally! Great job guys! Thank you!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Trees fell on my wooden fence. While talking to the owner Brenda, I asked if they could fix the fence also, which they did. As we talked, I realized they could do pretty much everything. We are getting ready to list our home and needed many things done (big and small). They saved me so much money because I would have had to hire different individuals to clean the chimney, fix fence, paint, etc. Everything they did was to perfection. Brenda cleaned my 28 year old deck and if you had a fork...you could have eaten off of it. It looked bran new. They patched a hole in my garage, built small steps out back door, power washed the house, cleaned out and fix gutters, filled in some cracks in porch and even tightened my shutters, and put new hinges on fence door. Not to mention the 3 huge trees they cut down and made woodchips of for us. Very reasonable and honest. She is there with the guys and they worked non stop. I cannot say enough about this company. This company was by far the best fix it company I have EVER hired."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

To streamline tree service in York, confirm if local permits or HOA guidelines apply, and plan work outside peak storm seasons. Hire a certified arborist with experience in tree removal and trimming for local species. Notify neighbors in advance, arrange for utility marking, and clear driveways or access points. Preparing for sudden weather changes helps avoid delays and ensures a safer, more efficient project.

Helpful?

In York, homes with narrow driveways, sloped lots, or mature trees close to foundations often present challenges for tree removal and trimming. Watch for visible surface roots, low-hanging power lines, or fences that restrict equipment access. Older homes with crawl spaces or brick foundations may be more susceptible to soil shifting, especially after heavy rain, increasing the need for careful planning.

Helpful?

In York, inspect trees each spring for storm or frost damage, and look for pest activity or drought stress in summer. In fall, assess for weak limbs and remove deadwood before winter storms. Keep a log of findings and take photos to track changes. Scheduling annual visits from a local arborist and post-storm checks helps maintain healthy trees and reduces the risk of emergency tree removal.

Helpful?

Before tree service in York, mark property lines clearly and document tree conditions with photos. Identify locations of underground utilities, irrigation lines, or septic systems to prevent accidental damage. Check for signs of wildlife nesting in large trees, and monitor weather forecasts for sudden storms. Notifying neighbors and ensuring clear access for equipment helps prevent unexpected interruptions during tree removal or trimming.

Helpful?

For tree service in York, choose heavy-duty chainsaws and pole saws suitable for hardwoods like oak and hickory, which are common locally. Use climbing harnesses rated for mature pines, and select stump grinders that handle dense clay soil. Mulch from hardwood chips helps retain moisture, while root barriers and quality pruning sealers protect against York’s humid summers and frequent thunderstorms.
