"We had Precise Repair and Remodel build an apartment in our basement. It is totally self contained and includes a kitchen, bathroom, laundry area, dining area, living room and bedroom. The work that Scott has done is nothing short of amazing. He has turned part of our basement area into a gorgeous and roomy apartment. His work is skillfully done and just gorgeous. He does what he says he will do and he is truly great at turning nothing into something fabulous. He is trustworthy and has absolutely done what we contracted him to do. If you have any sort of home remodel this is the company to hire. I am truly a fussy person when it comes to remodeling projects and I am so pleased at the work Scott and his company has done for us. "I hired Cransten a month ago and was super pleased with their responiveness and ease of booking. It is so hard to find a reliable contractor these days. We had a punch list of items to complete and they got everything done with high quality and in a timely manner. "

My husband who is retired from many years in construction and home building said,” This is old world craftsmanship rare in today’s market.” The owner, Nick, arrived for our estimate on time and the project completed according to time lines. Our existing cabinets had to be removed and relocated , a frame out around our washer and dryer was custom made to hold the weight of a quartz top and a custom side cabinet was designed to fit into a tight space for storing laundry hamper and baskets. We had no left over clean up all the install was meticulously done. Nick was on site to oversee and support the project with his expertise, he also adjusted a main entrance door not included in our price package. Crown molding was added to cabinets for a finished look at his suggestion and also chair rail molding was installed in my breakfast nook . He repaired an existing kitchen door hanging down due to a broken screw which was lodged in the frame ( Also not included in the original project and at no additional charge) We were so pleased with the finished project , we are adding this company to our home owners association list for preferred contractors. "EXCELLENT craftsmanship. Super high quality work. Very communicative - never ghosted us or left us in the dark. Five stars on all of that!! The only reason I don't give 5 stars overall is the timeline. We were originally quoted 8-10 weeks for our screened porch and it took a lot longer. There were things out of his control that contributed to that, so we understood. And again, he kept us in the loop. He also built us a new shed during that time and that slowed down the progress of the porch as well. We loved Calvin and would be happy to have him do more work for us."

"I'll start by saying I chose Matt because of the reviews here on Angie's List and the photographs of his work on his web site. Matt doesn't come cheap, and we did have significantly lower bids for this job. We felt that these built-ins were going into our great room and needed to look good, like a piece of furniture. We felt confident that Matt could deliver the quality craftsmanship we wanted for this project, and decided the extra cost was justified. Matt suggested a bench under each window with storage and doors below and a Cherry top (seat) on the benches. We decided on a scribed fit against the fireplace, which meant Matt would have to cut the bookshelves to mate with the rock fireplace. Matt shared his plan to build the bookshelves in his shop, described the materials being used and the process he would use to paint the exposed surfaces, gave us a rough date for completion and assured us we would be happy with the result. On installation day, he showed up with his partner Josh and each took a side of the fireplace to work on. They spent the entire day installing our built-ins, and even had to finish up a few details on the following day. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the result. The built-ins look great, and have that quality furniture look we hoped for. The sprayed on lacquer finish is awesome and durable. What an improvement in the room!"
