Glass is another good option that’s also low-maintenance—you just need a glass cleaner like you would use on the bathroom mirror. Natural stone tile is porous, but it’s still a viable option if you choose it in a glazed version.

In some cases, granite tiles can be installed over existing flooring if the surface is level, stable, and free of moisture issues. However, removing old flooring is often recommended to ensure a secure and long-lasting installation, as well as to avoid height differences at thresholds.
