Badly. This company charges a turnkey price for a Do-It-Yourself Experience. It would have saved me a lot of $ to go to Lowes. I did not want the headache of that. So I went to this company and got multiple headaches anyway. First, on the kitchen install, the installers were two hours late for a first of the morning appointment. No call. No apology. I had to call multiple times just to see if they were coming. Second -- on the bathroom installs. They insist you take out your existing tops so they can template -- you have to do this one week before install -- so you are without tops or sinks or water in your bathrooms for a week. Fine -- BUT when they templates, they did it incorrectly. Initially they stepped up and were fixing the problem for free. Then it was wrong AGAIN. The guy who came to install the second time had to re-cut all granite on site -- it took 6 hours of my time. Partly because he left to do another job in the middle. There was zero recognition of the value of my time. When they finally got done. They were supposed to arrange the schedule of the plumber they recommended to come re-connect everything the next day. They lied to me and said the plumber would be there on a Thursday am. That was not true. The plumber said he could only come Friday. Why lie? I had to find that out on my own as I was left waiting for the plumber on Thursday. I demanded to talk to the owner before I paid. He was not nice. It took a long while in the conversation for him to even acknowledge any failure of his team. And he acted like I was wasting his time. In a business where it is based on word of mouth, I was shocked. Oh -- and the plumber they recommended left me with leaking valves -- he refused to come back and fix -- saying that the leaks would "rust them shut" -- really? I had to pay another $300 to a different plumber to fix all that. Buyer beware. This is NOT a turnkey experience. Yes, I like what was finally installed but the pain of the installation process and the unprofessionalism of the core team was something I would never pay to experience again. There are a lot of granite companies. Make sure you shop around and compare and read reviews from everywhere -- I have noticed that certain sites only have good reviews and others list the whole story.

We have used StoneWorks for many years for several remodeling projects on our house, however, the last remodel was unfortunately a disaster because of StoneWorks. We worked with the same salesperson whom we have used in the past and had a great relationship with. We selected all of our marble for our master bath remodeling directly with this salesperson.. The floor marble was selected from samples that we're available in the store. When the marble tile arrived the sales person didn't check the lot. The contractor was not aware of the tile selected. The tile was picked up by the tile person and was installed. When the contractor saw it he realized that it was a mistake because it was the ugliest marble one can imagine. He sent photos to us and we agreed that it was terrible. We both contacted StoneWorks, and the sales person apologized for the error taking full responsibility for the error. It seems that the tile representative had brought in new samples, but our salesperson was not aware of the change. As a result the number of the tile ordered was incorrect because of this change. As mentioned the salesperson took full responsibility, however,  the owner, Mr Blazegar, stated that his company bore no responsibility, and that we were "childish" if we thought so. It is hard to believe that an owner with that attitude can garner business. I doubt that he will have ours in the future. He does not stand behind his company's errors.

Stoneworks is wonderful. Everyone there is knowledgeable and helpful. I was especially grateful for the great assistance I got from Kim Thorne, who spent an amazing amount of time with me helping me figure things out. She was so helpful, and so nice to work with. Once I chose the countertop I wanted, and the backsplash tile, things went very smoothly from my perspective. For them, it was a little harder: they actually sent a truck a few hundred miles away at the last minute to pick up the slab for my countertops, because the supplier did not deliver it to them on time. I was amazed that they would do this, but they wanted to honor their commitment to install by a given date, and they went way above and beyond to do so. Everyone there was great, and the supply of beautiful stone and tile is amazing.
