"As head of our village landscaping committee, I have been using Earthsystems for repairs of our irrigation when I am unable to repair the bigger issues. Wyatt is very responsive and will go over and above expectations. He has a good crew of courteous workers and gets the job done. He gets quite busy in the summertime, so it may take an extended time for him to address some of the larger issues, but usually can troubleshoot problems and advise me. I highly recommend him and his company."

I called this morning and the male in the service department said I had to pay $125.00 for them to fix the self, I thought it was a lifetime guarantee, he said just the material, not the labor and over a recorded line I ask so the labor is not good, he said correct. I like the shower but, the installation is not as it seems in the TV commercial. "

His knowledge and assessment of the leak along with realistic options made our decision easy. Another roofer said he would repair a section at a fraction of the cost to re-roof but neglected to take into account some of the other issues with the 17 year old roof, all of which Jason pointed out and documented with pictures. The Mediterranean style is unique in that it’s designed for homes in hotter climates and to maintain a connection with nature. The building materials include stucco siding, clay roofs, and interior tiling with tall ceilings and open floor plans. These all come together to keep the interior cool. The building materials are all natural and tend to have muted earth tones, and the architecture typically allows for easy, open access to the outdoors through large windows and arched doorways. The decor and architecture can range from simple and functional to opulent, depending on the type of Mediterranean home it is.

The difference between floor and wall tiles is that floor tiles generally have higher strength and porosity ratings than wall tiles. Wall tiles are typically weaker and more likely to crack or become damaged under sustained pressure like high foot traffic. 

For this reason, avoid using wall tiles on floors and vice versa.

Regular sealing, pH-neutral cleaners, and avoiding acidic substances help maintain their appearance and longevity.

Larger tiles can be difficult to install because they’re heavier and bulkier than their smaller counterparts, which makes them harder to haul around and put in place. Plus, if you don’t install the tiles correctly, they could crack or break. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a professional for large-format tile installation.

To ensure an even and unbending surface to lay tiles on, you’ll typically need to put a subfloor under a tile floor. Fiber cement backboards are the most common choice, but using plywood is also possible. Don’t neglect this step, or you could risk water damage and grout or tiles prematurely cracking or crumbling, especially in an area with high foot traffic.
