Jeff, the owner, and I went over the entire house and discussed the job in detail. He is a great communicator and I could trust that he was doing a good job not only for us but also for his pride in his work. We were out of town for several weeks during the interior work and I was completely comfortable with his crew working in the house. He was able to work around several other projects in the house such as a kitchen island modification as well as a shiplap paneling installation in one of the bedrooms. The finish quality of the interior work is excellent. There is nothing but crisp hand-cut trim lines and smooth paint on all surfaces including the cabinets and tin ceiling. All of the cabinets look brand new, now that they have been painted. We radically changed the color temperature of the house and it really makes it difference. Again, in a trim heavy house there are a lot of small details that need to be attended to and it seems like Jeff's team pays attention to them all. The exterior restoration was much needed due to some neglect of the house. With all of the cracks and holes patched up and a new protective coat on the outside, I'm looking forward to having a good looking house for many years to come. Jeff's knowledge of restoration of older Charleston houses definitely shows in the small things he picks up on that need to be corrected both structurally and aesthetically. I highly recommend Southern Paint and Restoration and would hire them again without question

Karen is pleasant, efficient, easy to work with, extremely competent and is the consummate professional. She is flexible and willing to do an entire project or work one room at a time. Karen will help you to incorporate your furnishings into a new look or start from scratch as we we did. She discussed and listened to our needs and because of her professional advice and excellent design skills, she created a look that is comfortable yet stunning. All quotes were precise and returned in a prompt manner. Karen maintains meticulous attention to detail and the contractors she uses are as professional and reliable as Karen herself. She was always on the job to be sure the work being done was to her specifications and left nothing to "chance". All work was completed when promised. She can turn anyone's budget into a great new look. My husband and I do not hesitate to recommend her for your any and all of your decorating needs

OMG.... she is great! Just bought a house and needed some help placing furniture, pictures and my crazy collection of large giraffes, zebras, lions and cats. It's always amazed me how some people can just look at a space and know what to do with it. Karen is one of those people... It only took her a couple of minutes to determine my style and get to work. WOW what fun! She hung pictures, placed my crazy characters and furniture, it was so fun watching the rooms come together. They look amazing and I can't wait to have people over so I can show it off. I highly recommend Karen. I will definitely be using her again

Ginger Brewton Interiors was extremely unprofessional. My project was full of delays and I was asked for payment before the project was finished. Once they received payment they completely dropped my project before completing it properly. The items I ordered were all delayed by months. Also, they gave no notification and did not receive authorization to enter my residence at one point but entered anyway without me being home. They charged my credit card without my authorization for an item that was not needed. They also did not complete all aspects of the job that were discussed at the contract signing. I would not recommend using their services. They behaved like amateurs

It was a nightmare. Kelly never managed to create a design that we loved. She seemed to focused on only using specific vendors & wanted us to compromise. Many mistakes were made (sinks did not fit in the vanities, not enough carpet was ordered to make a stair runner, the furniture did not fit in our guest rm) Kelly never took responsibility for any of her mistakes! Not only is there no accountability, you will be grossly over charged!
