"Awesome job. I couldn’t be more pleased. He listened to what we needed which was open space for the sunlight to reach some of my current trees by removing branches from others while maintaining the privacy they provided and he nailed it! He also removed 2 trees and cleaned everything up after. Thanks Evan amazing job, great price, and professional service. I highly recommend"

"Whack em and Stack em was very quick in calling us back when we called inquiring about their services. They were competitive with their pricing: and better priced than most tree services. The estimator, Bert, came out twice for an estimate and was always on time, very punctual. The crew that removed the tree was punctual as well. They quickly, efficiently, and safely removed the Water Oak tree in our backyard that was in a tight spot...close to our house, backyard fence, other trees, bird feeders and plants. They dropped the tree on a dime. We will use Whack em and Stack em again for any tree service needs in the future."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

In Mount Pleasant, combining tree service with landscaping, irrigation, or fence installation can minimize disruption and maximize contractor availability. Scheduling tree trimming before roof or gutter upgrades helps prevent debris issues. Pairing with storm prep projects, such as outdoor lighting or drainage improvements, is especially effective in coastal areas. Plan these upgrades in late fall through early spring for optimal results and contractor flexibility.

Helpful?

After tree service in Mount Pleasant, SC, keep trees hydrated during the humid summer months and add 2-3 inches of mulch to protect roots from sandy soil. Inspect for pests like palmetto bugs and fungal growth, especially on native species like Live Oaks. Check trees quarterly for storm or salt damage, and apply slow-release fertilizer in early spring to support recovery from hurricane season.

Helpful?

Homes in Mount Pleasant with mature native trees like Palmetto Palms or Live Oaks, especially near the coast or in established neighborhoods, benefit from regular tree service. Properties with sandy soil, trees close to power lines, or strict HOA landscaping guidelines are ideal candidates. Well-maintained trees not only boost curb appeal but also help protect your home during hurricane season and enhance overall property value.

Helpful?

In Mount Pleasant, signs that tree service may need to be redone include visible storm damage after hurricanes, improper pruning cuts, or excessive sprouting at the base. Watch for fungal infections or pest infestations, which can signal incomplete treatments. If trees lean or show root exposure after severe weather, or if required permits were not obtained, consult a local professional to ensure safety and compliance.

Helpful?

Tree service in Mount Pleasant can impact home systems such as irrigation, drainage, and septic lines, especially if roots are extensive. Large tree removals may alter soil stability in sandy areas, increasing flood risk. Work near underground utilities requires careful planning, and removing shade trees can raise cooling costs. Adding new trees may affect HVAC efficiency or pool maintenance, so consult local experts before starting your project.
