I can do a variety of home improvements like replacing faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, dishwasher machines, microwaves, T.V. Mounts and install T.V up to 50”, toilets, install lights and fans. Install Mail box post and hang pictures. Assemble shelving units and TV stands I do specialize in tiling and Laminate flooring up to 200 sq ft on the Laminate flooring and 50 sq ft on tiling. I can install linoleum flooring only in bathrooms. *I do not do dry wall repair or do I remove popcorn from ceilings . I can change furnace air filters clean and out gutters,install closet racks and hang curtains mostly indoor work! While peel-and-stick wallpapers require no time to cure, the adhesives for other types of papers will take a day or two to dry and up to three weeks to fully cure. The differences are the type of paper, the type of adhesive, and the humidity and temperature in the space. 

It’s best to remove wallpaper rather than paint over it. You should only paint over wallpaper if removing it would damage the wall, the surface is relatively smooth, or there are minimal problem areas—such as slight peeling and lifted seams—that you can fix easily. Painting over wallpaper can save time, but it can create more problems if the wallpaper is in poor condition and you don’t properly prep the area for painting. Depending on the state of the wallpaper, color, and textures could show through, and moisture from the paint could loosen the adhesive, causing unsightly bubbling.

We don’t recommend wallpapering over older paper. That’s because creating layers of glue can invite bubbling or excess moisture on the wall’s surface. You should also prime your wall before applying wallpaper and smooth the wall as much as you can, and another layer of wallpaper complicates this process.

You can paint over existing wallpaper if you select wallpaper that is designed to be paintable. This type of paper is meant to add texture to walls. Alternatively, if you have old wallpaper you’d like to cover up, you can often paint over that instead of removing it. However, it needs to be smooth, damage-free, and non-textured. Otherwise, any bumps, tears, and texture will show through the paint.
