Steve and his crew took excellent care of me and my house. The mold and water damage was overwhelming, but they handled it in stride. They also advised me about other needed services such as plumbing and gutter cleaning. I have total confidence in their expertise and professionalism and would recommend them wholeheartedly. They are the best

Mr. Gomez came to inspect our issue the day after I called. He appeared on time, inspected the area, took measurements, and recommended an inside French drain around three perimeters of our house--about 130 feet. He was very personable and took time to answer all of our questions. He buried one gutter downspout and tied it into the sump pump drain line extending it out an extra 40 feet from the house. We also requested he bury a 2nd downspout and extend it 50 feet from the house. A driveway drain in front of a garage door on the 4th side of the house was also added. He and his men arrived as promised and completed the job in 3 days. They prepared the area by wrapping all furniture, etc. in plastic before starting work. Concrete floors were also covered in plastic. The first day jack hammers rocked the house as they used them to chip up a foot wide channel in the concrete to make room for laying the Waterguard system. After the first day, all other work was quiet and quick. They were able to bury the drain lines outside and replace grass so that no evidence of any digging is even apparent without close inspection--amazing!!! Everything was completely cleaned up inside afterwards with no need to even vacuum. We consulted 5 companies before contracting with Uneven Floors. Not only was the system he installed comparable to what the others recommended, but was several thousand dollars cheaper. We have not had a hard rain to test the system, but water poured into the installed channel went to the sump pump so I would be highly surprised if it doesn't work as promised. As others have indicated in reviews, Mr. Gomez is very quick to respond to calls and emails. I would highly recommend this company

Francisco and his team were on time, professional, and did excellent work throughout the project. This company goes above and beyond to fix any foundational or flooring problem they encounter. Francisco is incredibly knowledgeable and communicates his recommendations very well. He kept me in the loop throughout the job so I always felt informed and included. He also sent pictures of the progress during and after project completion which was very helpful. I wouldn’t even consider going with anyone else

Francisco did an excellent job. I got about 4 different bids for the job before I decided to go with him. He was the only one who knew exactly what was wrong when he got there, before entering into the crawlspace. The other name brand foundational services are going to price gouge you with the highest margin products they can push onto you. Francisco will give you an affordable solution that is done with great quality. He is EXTREMELY responsive to phone calls which is hard to find. He went out to give me a quote the same day I called him, the other foundational repair companies will need weeks in advance just to schedule a time to quote you. He replaced all my joists, beams, some sill plates, and subfloor for an entire house in a weeks time. He will give you an estimate based on reasonable prices derived from amount of material and labor needed, and an itemized proposal to show you. The other guys will give you a super blanketed quote severely padded. If I run into any kind of flooring or foundational problem I will definitely use him again. Excellent work, Francisco is a rare find for contractors do not hesitate to do business with him

Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair

I had some issues with water entering my crawl space. I called Falcone and Joe came out. Joe was at my house five minutes early and made a very professional impression. I knew right away I was in good hands. His knowledge and kindness put me at ease right away. I informed Joe that I had just bought the home. I was planning on having new gutters put on and was in the process of grading some soil away from my house. Joe gave me several options, one of which is an interior drain/pump system. BUT he told me that before I go that route, lets see how the new gutters and grading works. Fortunately the gutters and grading worked. Joe could have given me the hard sale on a pump system but he was honest and told me not to spend the money unless needed. I did however need my vapor barrier replaced. Lots of companies to that work, but Joe told me he was going to go through it with a rake till it was spotless, and in his words, if it doesn't belong on the ground it will be taken off the ground. Every wire, and piece of insulation was re-hung. And the barrier was installed extremely well. No rocks and bricks to hold it in place; they pounded staples in to keep it exactly how they laid it. I am extremely happy I called Falcone. I may still go with the pump in the future if I have additional problems, but for now I am all set and happy. If I need any work at all done in my crawl space I am going to call Falcone. If you need work done, do yourself a favor and go with this highly reputable, professional company. From the moment the gal answers the phone you will know you are in the best hands possible

From agreeing to the estimate and the start of work was 2 months. They arrived on the day and at the time they said. The team was 5 guys. They worked solidly under that house doing the work as detailed for 4 days, they started at 8 and finished at 5. Before the work, the crawl space would flood with about an inch of water pooling at one end. The insulation due to the dampness was coming down. Since having the work done the crawl space in much better, it has rained since and I have been under that house to check the effectiveness of the drainage system and it was dry. They were not the cheapest quote but I felt they had the most effective plan for dealing with my problem

"The men were thorough and efficient. The materials were high quality. The job was carried out fast, no corners were cut. My main complaint is that they had to install a dehumidifier or the encapsulation wouldn't work. It runs 24 hours a day which impacts our electric bill."

"It is very hard to find someone who is not only willing to work hard, but get the job done right the first time. Masle and his crew were out working in the rain getting my drains project in on time and under budget! Simply amazing.
I am overjoyed at the quality of work, the communication, and the attention to detail. These folks are all you need I assure you.

"I hired them on their rating on Angi as BBB had no deck and porch repair companies in this area other than a few North Carolina companies. They seem to have good workers who really know their stuff. The problem is with their inside people. I had two jobs: Replace and repair a sinking screen porch and repair an unstable deck. Their salesman was courteous but didn’t explain all the options available didn’t have any pictures of similar jobs. The screened porch was pretty cut and dried, and the proposal was accurate. When it came to the deck, the salesman said the planking looked good and could be resurfaced and suggested a coating. He also gave us the option of metal rails or wood but no description. As the wood railing was in total collapse, we chose metal since we didn’t want the same problem and we chose the color to be white with a slate grey coating on the deck. The options he didn’t give us (which we found out later to our chagrin) was replacing the deck planting or tearing down the entire deck and replacing it. We just took it that he knew what he was doing. When I received the proposal, there was many items left off such as the color of the railing and the coating. I had to pen the changes in. Being that there was changes to the proposal, I needed to have them sign the contract with the updates. That’s when I ran into problems. They don’t communicate. I tried, on numerous occasions to call them to get a down payment check to them but they never return calls. Their office hours are from 9 to 1, Monday through Saturday so I decided to drive to their office. The office is in an obscure place behind another property posted with a no trespassing sign. I called them on the cell to get directions but again, just an answering machine. I was ready to start all over again looking for another contractor when they finally called me and explained they were having difficulties with their phones and asked me to mail in the check. I explained the differences in the proposal and the amendments needed to make it a contract. They finally sent someone over to sign the contract and pick up a down payment. All this took over a week when it should have taken only a day or two. Since they had a good rating on Angi, I decided to proceed. The contract was signed in mid May with a projected starting date of mid June. That’s when the communication problems swung into high gear. They seldom answer their phone much less return calls. June came and went and their excuse was work on other projects ahead of me had delays due to weather and supply shortages. I could understand that as that is a widespread problem in the construction industry right now. But it still didn’t explain their lack of communication. After numerous calls and emails, I finally had a date. Again it was put off and suddenly one morning, the workers showed up but without materials. Again, they didn’t communicate even within their own company. The workers set to work tearing out the old wood and next thing I knew. They were cutting the deck flooring which they were supposed to refinish. Again lack of communication within their company. They then had to replace what they removed with new deck at their expense. Had I been able, in the beginning, to have that option and it’s cost, I would have probably chosen to replace the deck for a few more dollars. Now I have half a new deck and half an old deck. Next came the metal railings. Before they could put them up, I noticed they were black. Our contract was for white. This made another delay as the fence stood there for over a day while awaiting one of their workers to replace them. Again, poor or no communication. Then my wife noticed that they were going to install the railing coating the deck with the wrong color. Again, another lack of communication resulting in a delay while it was straightened out and a worker dispatched to buy the right coating. Then, without warning, as I was in the shower one morning, one of the workers knocked on the door to announce they were finished. I was never notified of a finish date and was naked except for a bathrobe as the worker wanted me to sign off on the job. The whole job site was littered with construction debris and tools which prevented me from making a thorough inspection as I am handicapped and don’t want to have an accident. I signed off and gave them a check. Thank God I made a mistake in the math and underpaid because when my wife got home she gave it an inspection and found a warped piece of lumber was used causing and opening, one of the soffits hadn’t been closed and there was enough opening for a bird’s or squirrel’s nest and finally one piece was replaced short and there was an opening large enough for some pretty big bugs or small birds to get into. Only then was there communication looking for money. I explained the problem and they said I already signed off but I told them the problem with communication and the job site was not cleared for inspection. On a subsequent day, a worker was sent to correct the problems and I tried to call in the final payment on a credit card. Again, left a message which wasn’t answered and I got an email asking for final payment. Again, poor communication. I am not sending a credit card through the mails or trusting the internet to pay. Finally the owner, John, called me and I gave him the information for the final payment. In the end, the screened porch looks great but the deck looks like it was made by a fly by night outfit. The old lumber, which I was never given the option to replace, looks like **** at the corners with all sorts of nails and screws. This company has the ability to do good work but is severely mismanaged with poor communication. If using this contractor, be present and persistent to correct their mistakes. Insist on a detailed contract and make sure the worksite is cleaned up before inspecting the work. Inspect thoroughly, even if it means delaying a day before writing that final check. I think this company has good intentions but terrible management and communication skills.

"We had Mount Vally come out to fix some of our floor joists and subfloor under our master bedroom and bathroom after we had water damage from a broken water pipe. Everyone I spoke with was super helpful and friendly from John who came out for our quote to Chris who helped get us financed to pay for the project. I am kicking myself for not being able to remember the Forman and his crewmen’s names that came out to do the work because they were awesome! They worked efficiently and quickly to get the job done and when a problem came up, they let me know immediately and we got it worked out quickly to keep the project going. I thought there would be a ton of noise and in and out of the house but these guys were so quiet I had to check on them from time to time to see if they were still here only to be amazed at how much work they got done. They made sure everything was cleaned up when they were done and put back the way it was. Will definitely be referring people to Mount Vally and more than likely hiring them to come back out for more projects! Thanks guys! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
