"Team from Power completed the work on time and cleaned up well after work was completed. Windows were measured correctly so replacement windows fit perfectly and were quality Pella windows versus no-name windows offered by other vendors."

"The installers were great. The salesperson made promises that he did not keep and he missed a window. When the person came to measure he also didn’t catch that I was having all my windows done except one. The windows look great. The response when I notified the co that one window was missed was very fast but added to my cost."

"Since our house was built, about 7 1/2 years ago, we've had water drainage problems every time we would get a heavy rain. Water would run off our driveway and into the window well area. We suspected there could be damage happening in our crawl space, so we had Dry Pro come out to check it out. Turns out that, while there is no damage or mold at this moment (thank goodness), we do have a definite water problem. Standing water and evidence of "rivers" running under the house.
Our experience with Dry Pro was great, from start to finish. Matt came out, within a few days of us contacting Dry Pro, to give us a consult and estimate. He was friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything in an easy-to-understand way, using photos that he took while under the house inspecting the crawl space. He also explained in detail what it would take to fix the problem and how much it would cost.
I honestly thought it was going to be a much larger expense, but Matt assured me that he doesn't recommend anything that's not necessary. So I felt that we were treated honestly and not taken advantage of. Matt was awesome!
About 2 weeks later a crew came to do the work, and it took about half a day. They were all polite and got right to work. It was so hot, but they worked right through it, dripping wet by the end of the day. They didn't leave behind any kind of a mess...everything was cleaned up as best they could. And the work was performed as expected. One of the guys spoke with me before they left and explained what they did and showed me pictures of everything.
It hasn't rained yet, so I don't know how well the fix will perform, but I'm confident that the job was done right.

If you have a problem with your window, such as broken glass, minor leaks, or a problem with your window being stuck, repairing the broken part might be a cheaper option than replacing the entire window. However, if you have a deteriorating window frame or major leaks, buying a new window will be the better long-term solution.
Window replacement can become costly, especially if you’re replacing your whole home. There are a few steps you can take to help save money on the bottom cost while still giving your windows a facelift.
Replace multiple windows at once to bundle your purchase
Inquire about discounts, coupons, or special offers
Consider window repair as soon as you see damage to help prevent the need for replacement
Maintain your windows often by inspecting your windows for drafts, leaks, and cracks
There are certain window repairs that are cost-effective to DIY and relatively simple for homeowners to tackle themselves. Tasks like replacing a screen, replacing a lock, or sealing a window are typically under $30 and take minimal time to do yourself. However, if you need to replace your window or repair a broken double pane, it’s best to call in a professional window replacement installer to lend a hand. Replacing the majority or all of the windows in your home is a time consuming job and best left to a professional.
Window replacement costs between $180 and $410 per window, or an average of $280 per window. However, your specific replacement job could cost as little as $100 or as much as $750. Factors such as frame material, the number of windows you need, and the type of glass you order all impact the overall cost. For example, simple double-glazed windows will cost $3 to $6 per square foot, but the stronger tempered glass ranges from $12 to $14 per square foot.
The time it takes to replace a window is a total of four to 15 weeks. This time includes your initial consultation, appointments for measuring, as well as ordering and manufacturing your windows. For a smaller job, you can expect the total timeline to be on the shorter end, but for a whole house window replacement, it might take longer (or be split into multiple install appointments). Once your windows are created and ready to be installed, your window installer will take 30 to 60 minutes per window to install.
