"I worked directly with Jasmine. Jasmine was great to work with, very professional and relatable. She was understanding about the sudden changes in color and material I had during multiple consultations. She offered me a vast knowledge of materials and details about the work I hadn’t thought of or didn’t know about. If I have another project in the future I won’t hesitate to reach out to Sentri Homes."

Small jobs welcome

Customers say: Quick response

"Mr. Hirons helped us tackle a complete second story gut and remodel. Floors, walls, everything came out. With a pregnant wife an the clock ticking, everything was completed ahead of time and on budget. You have never seen any contractor with a better mind for organization and cleanliness; heck, the place was cleaner while under construction than on a normal day. In the end, my wife's stress level was zero, the family is still growing, and everything looks great."

"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. "My wife and I have owned several historic homes. Our favorite is the one we live in now, a former carriage house, built in 1865. We believe strongly that one of the primary duties inherent in having such a house is being a good steward--not just taking good care of it, but making sure that the work done to it is of the highest quality. In short, we have very standards; the house deserves nothing less. LOPCO not only lived up to those standards, but exceeded them. Their work ethic, attention to detail, knowledge, experience, and leadership were exceptional. And it was all done on time and on budget. We can honestly say this was the best experience we've ever had with a contractor. We offer LOPCO our strongest possible recommendation, without hesitation."

"It was so much easier than getting a dumpster. I paid less money than if I had gotten a dumpster because a dumpster charges by weight and since it snowed and rained, everything in the bag was wet - I would have paid a fortune!!! With the bullbag, I paid one set price and the cool part: I got the bag back to refill again and again. This company also recycles most of what is collected so less ends up in a landfill.
No better business bureau complaints.
One set price to empty.
I get to reuse the bag over and over."

Storm Shelters questions, answered by experts

If you’re building a pole barn in place of a traditional home, lenders usually don’t offer traditional mortgages for these structures. You can also expect higher insulation costs and building permits may not be allowed in your area. Even if you’re just using a pole barn as storage or as a shelter for animals, these structures are less durable than steel buildings and require more maintenance.

Depending on your structure, you may not need planning permission. Major excavation, anything that changes the external appearance of your home, or any construction that will affect your neighbors will need planning permission. However, no planning permission is required if you’re just converting an existing space into a root cellar.

The decision to build or buy an outdoor pizza oven depends on your personal preferences, budget, and time. Whether building is cheaper hinges on the style you choose and the tools and materials you already possess. For example, having a surplus of fire bricks from a previous project can significantly reduce costs. However, if you need to purchase all the required materials, buying a pre-made oven is often the more affordable and less labor-intensive option, with prices for quality versions typically ranging from $300 to $1,000. Keep in mind that while a DIY project can be cheaper than hiring a professional for a custom build, it carries the risk of injury or costly construction errors.

Goats need at least 250 square feet of space each, but that’s if you’re also supplementing hay. Since goats are social animals, you’ll want to avoid renting only one goat, which would take a long time to clear your land, anyway. Instead, opt for at least two goats per 500 square feet of land. Most rental companies will only rent out goats by the acre, but check your local goat rental companies to see if they make exceptions.

Local zoning laws and building codes will determine whether you can build a guest house in your backyard. These laws may limit the potential location of the guest house on your lot or the size and look of the structure. If your lot isn’t large enough, you may not be able to build a guest house at all. Speaking with a local home addition company can help you learn about the local regulations and your other options, such as adding an ADU onto the main house.
