I don?t know what the cost was.  They?re punctual, they clean up after themselves, they?re professional, paint wasn?t dripped all over the place, and my ceilings are nice and white again.  I?ve been using LOPCO for a lot of years and any time I need anything I just call them.   They?re an A across the board.

They actually hung some paintings for us because we have like a two-story wall.  We live in a raised ranch, so there?s a big wall that goes from the ground level up to the ceiling of the first floor, along the stairwell, and I wanted a painting hung up at the top of that wall.  And so I called Tom and said well who do you know that can do this and he said well we do that.  I said okay.  So he sent a couple of guys out, not only did they hang the painting, they re-hung paintings that were kind of crooked.  They just took care of hanging things that required going up a ladder, like a two floor ladder, a two-story ladder.  What they did was up a scaffolding and just did it that way, which is not something that a homeowner can do.  I just keep going back to LOPCO for everything.

Very pleased with the work of the LOPCO team. They worked hard, took care to clean up the area each day, and were very pleasant guys. Tom updated me daily as to the progress of the work, which was very helpful. If I had any questions or concern along the way, Tom and his team responded almost immediately. Very happy with the entire process, and highly recommend LOPCO.

Excellent experience from the estimate to completion. Work was expertly done, with attention to detail. The wooden doors now look better than when they were new. All of the crew were professional, pleasant, respectful of the property and did outstanding work. Over the years we have done our own painting and the work of this team exceeded our expectations.

My wife and I have owned several historic homes. Our favorite is the one we live in now, a former carriage house, built in 1865. We believe strongly that one of the primary duties inherent in having such a house is being a good steward--not just taking good care of it, but making sure that the work done to it is of the highest quality. In short, we have very standards; the house deserves nothing less. LOPCO not only lived up to those standards, but exceeded them. Their work ethic, attention to detail, knowledge, experience, and leadership were exceptional. And it was all done on time and on budget. We can honestly say this was the best experience we've ever had with a contractor. We offer LOPCO our strongest possible recommendation, without hesitation.

We recommend, without hesitation, Tom Lopatosky and all of those from LOPCO Contracting who worked on the transformative exterior revival of our recently purchased East Side home. When determining which contractor to go with, there were three things integral to our choice - ease, quality and value. As the job required not only paint, but also moderate carpentry work and a new seamless gutter system; we frankly did not want to be coordinating with two or three contractors' schedules, etc. LOPCO Contracting addressed all items for the house, making the process so much easier. The balance between quality and value can be quantified in many ways, especially when quotes vary so wildly. Quite simply, we felt as though the job was worth every dollar spent - and we're both quite particular. And while not something we initially considered, we felt it worth mentioning that all those who we worked with are great guys - a sentiment also shared by our 22-month-old daughter (the greatest of all tests). In summation, LOPCO Contracting was everything one could ask for - competent, consultative, thorough and trustworthy.

We got three estimates from three different painting companies to paint our house. Prior painters had not prepped the house adequately, and so there was lots of peeling paint, on top of layers and layers of old paint. In addition, there were some rotted sills on a couple of windows that needed to be replaced before they could be painted. Our estimate appointment was at 8 am and Tom Lopotosky showed up right on time. The three estimates we received from the three painting contractors were all in the same $12,000.00 ballpark. We decided to go with LOPCO for two reasons: The first was that LOPCO has their own construction contractors that would be able to do the repair work (One painting company told me I would have to find my own carpenter to do the woodwork. No thank you.) The second reason was that LOPCO was the only one that offered a FIVE year warranty on their work. They also offered a selection of payment options, and offer the free services of a color-consultant, Susanne.
We signed the contract with Tom that stated that the work would start no later than June 8th, 2015 and be finished no later than June 26th. Well, the actual work didn't start until June 22nd. I understand, however, that outdoor painting is very weather-dependent, so you need to be flexible in the time-table you chose.
Also, the first step was power-washing the house. The fellow who did the washing did not cover my hydrangea bushes, and the solution (a mild cleaning solution) burned some of the leaves and blossoms. I would have preferred that he cover them, or warned me that the solution might burn tender plants so that I could have covered them. The good news is, the bushes have fully recovered.
Having said that,I have nothing but THE HIGHEST PRAISE for the team that prepped and painted the house. Mike (the job-site manager), Aster, Miguel, and Mark (the door specialist), plus the carpenters who were called in to replace additional rotted molding and trim that was discovered later in the process (The added work was an additional $3000 expense. Tom DID warn us that it may happen, particularly in an older house such as ours.), were ALL friendly, courteous, and took great pride in their work.
They began by doing a very thorough scraping of the house, and once they determined that the paint was not lead based, they also sanded and feathered the edges so there were no "islands" where the new paint went over the old paint. They used two different types of primer on the part of the house that gets the most exposure to the elements. They then primed the rest of the house and completed the painting. We changed the color of the body of the house to a beautiful dark gray, left the trim white, then added black shutters and glossy red doors. The painters had to be very precise and particular when they were painting the trim.
The house looks gorgeous, and we receive lots of compliments from our neighbors. I encourage anyone who is looking for a house painter, especially someone who has an older home, to hire LOPCO. They will not be disappointed.

We originally hired a different painter, but they did not show up.  So we hired Lopco because they were available right away.  They arrived on time and with their team.  They left the area clean and did a good  job.  I thought their price was high.  They had a consultant that came and she did an amazing job of picking out colors and advising us on choices.

This has to be the best contractor I have ever worked with. Professional. Thorough. Neat. Available. Impeccable results.
I contacted Lopco in mid-June and had a couple of visits with Mike (VP of Sales). Mike took lots of pictures. He followed up with an estimate a few days later, and came out for a second visit to wrap things up. One third of the total payment was taken. Mike supplied me with his cell number, and when I had questions about a starting date he immediately connected me with Tom (president and owner).
Tom was always available by cell phone. I texted him several times and he always got back to me. Tom stopped by several times and even rang the doorbell just to talk and ask me how I thought things were going. The job was done in three phases; power washing, repair and prep work, and staining. Just as I was told, workers would return every day to complete each phase before moving on to their next job.
The prep work was excellent. Workers sanded, sealed minor cracks, replaced damaged clapboard and shingles, and repaired a window with heavy water damage. They replaced a wooden panel below a deck door with a composite material to prevent further damage. They removed an ant nest and even called a pest control company on my behalf.
Second payment was done at the end of the repair work, and the last payment was taken at job completion. The workers that stained the house were particular to the end. They covered bushes, decks, and the driveway. There wasn't a drop or spill anywhere to be found. Paul (production manager) asked me to approve colors after small samples were applied. As it turned out the trim color was a bit too light, so they immediately changed it for a darker color after getting my approval.
All the workers were approachable and easy to talk to. They showed up on time every day, and completely cleaned up each evening. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lopco to anyone, and I would definitely use them again myself.

Those guys were very good. The actual job was very professional. They've put paper down on all the floors and covered the furniture. They did an excellent job. The price was a little bit higher than the average guy, but I think they do a little extra stuff too to make sure it is done right and to make sure things are taken care of. They showed up when they said they were going to be there. They are guys that want to get it done right, so they do a good job.

The work progressed very well from powerwashing to completed project. Absolutely no complaints and nothing but praise for a job well done. As I sat down to write the final check, I reviewed the estimate to make sure everything was done. Reading the estimate was more like a script because as I went down the list, I realized the work was done in order and exactly as laid out.

The price was less than $10,000. The experience was good. They came when they were supposed to. They provided very good attention to detail. The product was very good in terms of how the house looked in the end. The principal of the company was out to explain of what would happen in the end. There were a couple of pieces that they had to come back and do because the windows were being installed. They were good about doing that as well. There probably are cheaper options on price.

We were impressed from the get-go.  Mike showed up to do an evaluation and estimate, exactly when he said he would.  He listened to what we thought we needed, and made a few suggestions along the way.  The estimate (received about a week later) was a little higher than expected, but did include all the carpentry work, power washing, and painting.  We were impressed by the contract detail, especially all the prep work they included--crucial to a good paint job.  There were more areas of shingles they suggested replacing, but they explained why it was a good idea, and we never felt like they were padding the bill.  As for the work crews, they were all way beyond our expectations--punctual, polite, clean, and professional.  We've never had a carpenter or painter (other than the boss) shake our hand and introduce himself--nice touch!  My wife told me repeatedly that these guys were quiet, didn't smoke, and didn't use inappropriate language at all.  When the work was finished, there were a few minor issues typical of this type of work, and I found Tom to be personally responsive every time I called--he was amazing.  Clean up was exceptional--no stray nails or anything that shouldn't have been left behind.

The estimator came and examined house and gave a detailed and thorough estimate. After signing contract workers came about 10 days later to begin. Once they started they were done within 2.5 days. Tom, who is the president, was very nice and very responsive to my emails and questions. He also came after all the work was done to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. This company may cost a little more than some competitors but they're worth it. In my view you always get what you paid for. These guys a very professional and have excellent customer service.
