Yankee Tree Service

I have many trees on my property and after one fell in my backyard during a storm I knew I needed help - removing dead/dangerous trees and large rotten branches that could fall on my kids and pets. The entire process with Yankee Tree Service from start to finish was exceptional! From the moment they came out to do an estimate, to the appointment booking, follow up and actual tree work everything was professional and perfect! And the price was great. Now my yard looks beautiful and feels safe! I highly recommend Yankee Tree service and will definitely use them again!

Yankee Tree Service did an outstanding job! I hired them to remove a tree from my front yard and also grind the stump. The office called me the day before the estimate to confirm the time, and also called the day before the work was performed. The crew showed up on time, were very friendly and professional, and did a great job removing the tree and grinding the stump. They took great care to grind the stump perfectly, and also did an excellent job cleaning up the entire area when they were done. When they left it was like the tree was never there. Great job at a very reasonable price. I will definitely hire again.

These folks were great. They're obviously very busy, so we didn't get on the schedule until nearly 4 weeks after they came to give an estimate. That was fine with us. Work was done over 2 days, before and after Thanksgiving. The first day they came to do the work in the afternoon and managed to remove one tree, trim two others, and clean up after themselves, before it got too dark. They came again a week later and took care of the final 2 trees. We are in the city, so all 3 of the trees we needed removed were in tight spaces that required the removal team to maneuver in narrow driveways, sometimes in our neighbors' yards. They got everything done quickly and neatly, and cleaned up the areas beautifully. They let us know in advance what days they would be coming, but gave short notice about the time they would arrive -- still, enough time to remove cars and get neighbors to do the same. We corresponded by email, as phone tag was not very satisfactory (not necessarily their fault -- we're bad at paying attention to our phones). We're very happy with the work and recommend them unreservedly.

I am so happy to see that tree gone and very satisfied with the service. Due to many bad weather days we had to postpone twice. The company's secretary called us to let us know and rescheduled the dates appropriately. My oak tree was invasive to my neighbor's yard; the guys had to go next door to reach the tree. They are very professional and did an awesome job. To get to the hard-to-reach places, they had to trim some of the surrounding trees but they didn't charge extra. Afterwards, the crew cleaned everything up for us. I would recommend this company, and will also ask them to come back for our other trees. [*** Link removed ***]

The owner and crew were excellent. They worked fast and took care to not damage the house, fences, adjacent trees and ground as much as they could. They were booked up pretty good so we had to schedule 5 weeks out. Glad we chose Yankee Tree. I've already recommended them to friends and family...kickback possible (cough, cough)?

I had used Yankee Tree in the past at our old house.  We moved and needed to get some tree work done at the new house so I called them and a couple of other companies for estimates.   Yankee Tree once again was the best value so we hired them. (not the lowest price, but very competitive and they are fully insured.)  When hiring companies, make sure they are insured for what they are doing, especially with tree companies.
Rob gave me an estimated time for the work to be done but they had some free time earlier so they came almost a week ahead of schedule.
They used a combination of climbing and a bucket truck.  Everything was tied off and lowered gracefully.   The crew was very professional and extremely neat.   They put down rubber mats in the yard so there were no ruts from the bucket truck going on the grass.  All debris, clippings, and brush were removed.  When they were done, it was hard to tell they were ever in the yard.  With the stumps ground down, you could barely notice them as well.   There are alot of retired people in my neighborhood and they were watching.  I know the neighbors were impressed as well because a couple came by to say they watched them working and wanted Yankee's contact information.  One neighbor said she talked to Rob and she will be calling for her own appointment.   The only negative (my fault) was I should have pointed out some of  the roots that were near the surface that I should have had them grind when they were there.  Overalll, I was extremely satisfied and would have no hesitation hiring Yankee again.

These guys were great. Very professional and did exactly what they promised. This is the second time we have used Yankeee and they never disappoint...

They had a lot of work and it was well worth it. They had people who went to the top of the trees and cut the branches. We have been here for 40 years.

Rob responded quickly to my message and came out to give an estimate on the spot. His price was more than fair for the amount if work to be performed. He removed five trees, including an enormous split trunk ash tree. The job was executed quickly and professionally. He left me a nice neat stack of logs for firewood, as I requested. In addition to the work we agreed upon, Rob pruned a few large branches from trees in my backyard at no extra charge. My only complaint is that the crew left a few holes/ tire marks in the yard with their trucks. Not a big deal to me, but I know some people are crazy about their grass looking pristine. Overall, an excellent job at a fantastic price.

Rob came by the next day after I called to look over the yard and give me an estimate for the work done. It was early March when he came by and snow still on the ground, so he did not want to set a date until it got a little warmer. The only glitch was that he said he would call within a week to set up a date for the work and he did not call. (But I was calling very early in the season.) I called after about a week and a half and he set up a tentative date. I called to confirm the day before and it did take a while to hear back from him, but I did and his crew came when they said they would and did a great job--just what we wanted, cleaned up and took everything they'd cut off away with no problems and were done in about an hour. A tree specialist worked on my star magnolia tree, and the landscape people worked on the holly bushes at the same time. Both the tree and the hollies still have a natural appearance, which is what we requested.

Rob, the owner came out within a couple of days of me calling to give me an estimate. He was prompt and professional. He looked at all that we wanted to have done and on the spot took 5 mins to write out an estimate that was broken down by the different jobs incase we didn't want to do it all at once. His price was fantastic. We had already gotten one other estimate and Rob's was half that price! I had already read the good reviews for Yankee Tree Service here so we hired him on the spot to do it all. He showed us his licience and proof of insurance right then. We signed the estimate and he was here in less than 2 weeks to to the work.
The showed up for the job as a team of 5, including Rob. They put protection pads down across my front law so they could drive the bucket truck up to do the big tree trimming. You would never know a huge truck drove on my lawn! They did the tree triming we agreed on and he also went above and beyond to also cut out some other dead limbs and now my trees look so healthy and balanced.
Then they attacked the giant wall of overgrown shrub and the extra overgrown bushes. His team of guys are professional and were very kind to my 4 year old who loved watching them work. Rob and his team had great communication with me as new things were discovered/unearthed as they worked. In removing all of that, they found a rotten railroad tie retaining wall and they again went beyond the scope of work we talked about to do a great job. I was able to order a dumpster and they used the bobcat to remove the ties and put them in the dumpster. They left the whole worksite clean, even used a leaf blower to get the dirt and chip out of the street.
I could not be happier with their work! I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone!

Yankee Tree Service was professional. They had a lift to get to the trees. They've also very clean.

We contacted Yankee Tree Service and they responded the next day and gave us the price to remove same. The following day a crew showed up and cut up and removed the tree. They did an excellent job cutting and removing all traces of the tree. Could not have gone any better.

Rob answers the phone, offers a fair price, shows up when he says he will, and takes great pride in his work. I cannot speak highly enough about the performance of Yankee Tree Service.

First, someone answered the phone and promptly scheduled an estimate. He came on time for the estimate, the price was competitive so I gave them a shot at the job. Needless to say I am extremely happy with their performance.

They came to do the job when promised. They removed the trees with no issues, did the stump grinding and even picked up all of the chips. Except for the trees being gone you could not even tell they were even in the yard. I would use them again.
