"I called Zack and he said he would be happy to look at it, and he would call me the following week when his schedule allowed. He called and set up a time. He came out, looked at the problem, cleaned the gutters, and installed a filter on the front problem area. He said that the reason it would stay fixed was because of the trees near that part of the gutter/downspout area. The sticks and leaves thrown by the sycamore particularly were causing a blockage. The filter sits in the downspout and sticks up a bit so the twigs don't catch the leaves so much. The diagnosis appears to have been right! The last two rains there has been no spattering or erosion! He arrived on time, did a great diagnosis that was remedied immediately and cleaned the gutters...all done, solved."

"First, let me applaud Bob for being flexible  in delivering my tile. He actually bought it out on a weekend so his crew could start the project first thing, as I was on a very tight deadline to finish an unfinished basement room in a new construction before a moving van arrived. Avalon did have to push the start date back one day, which I was amenable to since Bob was so accommodating with that initial tile delivery.
I had one person who did tile placement, cutting and installation. That went very smoothly, and the gentleman answered any questions I had along the way. The following day a different professional arrived to do the grouting, which came out excellent.
Here's a big plus...they all left the room and areas they were working in neat and tidy. Having had tile placed in various homes, I've never had such a thorough 'clean up' after the fact.

Robert, Tony, and Herb worked quickly, explained what they were doing, and clearly take great pride in their work. "The project went well: Doug was a real artisan in performing the tiling and achieved a very nice effect. There were two delays from the countertop which delayed the project, but Rick and Doug were very flexible about rescheduling, including coming in on a Saturday to complete the job according to the (revised) schedule. Rick was also good at coming up with a design that kept the cost reasonable: no other contractor bid was under $10,000.
