ROBERT DELL'AQUILA PLASTERING

My wife and I were very pleased by the plaster work that was performed in our home by Robert Dell'aquilla Plastering. The owner and his workers did great work on about 5 different areas of our house, ranging from holes that had been punched into walls from previous electrical work, damage that had been done during storms and leaking gutters, and cracks in some rooms due to subsidence. In each case, the work was done professionally and completely, addressing the issues and leaving each area looking like new. The employees were very experienced and skilled, making some difficult repair situations look amazing. They treated our home like their own, even repairing some minor issues they spotted that were not initially requested. All of the crew were diligent in cleaning the rooms and closet areas that had been worked on. We found Robert Dell'aquilla Plastering by searching and researching previous reviews. We were very pleased with the work that they performed in our home.

Robert is a consummate professional. He communicates clearly, prices fairly, and has an insatiable work ethic. He arrived at the time we scheduled, worked efficiently, and completed our jobs faster and with more quality than I could have ever imagined. And the work, holy smokes, the work. It is beautiful. It is strong, smooth, and blends perfectly in with the pieces of our wall that were not in disrepair. His ability to let a 100 year old house still have character upon repair is amazing. It is brilliant work that, once painted, looks incredible. Lastly, he maintains one of the cleanest workspaces I can ever remember seeing. We haven't found random bits of dust in our sock drawer because of his tidiness... and, as someone who is thankful to not have to clean more than I already do, that alone is worth the price!

Robert and his crew did an EXCEPTIONAL job at my home. The job required a great deal of prep and they worked as a team of deeply experienced professionals to get the work done right. Showed up on time, got right to work and treated every inch of my home with care and respect. This company is one you can trust to bring 100% professional craftsmanship to the job; pride in the work, respect for the customer and a work ethic that goes above and beyond. Not pleased. Please do not use this plastering company, it is shady. The work performed in my home was to my satisfaction but Robert talked too much to me while his men were working. I was very disinterested in his personal life, bragging about his age and how much he works out daily. He asked for cash, telling me that he is on disability (he didn't look or act disabled at all) and that is how he has to hide his income offering me a slight discount. I refused and when I wrote the check he insisted it would be written to his partner, Gary Sanfilipo. The other workers were nice and did a good job. My recommendations is for them to work for someone else. Robert is very annoying, obnoxious, unprofessional and off. I was off put by his scams in regards to cash jobs or writing a check to one of his workers. I will never have him in my home for work again, nor will I ever recommend him. I will give a star to his workers but not Robert. He is the most deceitful, crooked, unprofessional individual I have ever met. He gets zero stars and a bad review from me.

After our ceiling fell down from a leak in the roof, we had to find someone who could fix the giant hole in the living room as if it never happened, which proved very tricky since the ceiling was plaster with a special type of texturing. After searching high and low for top notch plasterers, we found Bob's number and gave him a call. Bob came out quickly and was able to put our mind at ease about making the repairs and gave a great timeline and quote for getting the work done. When the work was done, we truly couldn't tell there was ever a hole in the ceiling! Bob and his team did an excellent job repairing everything and matching the texture to the surrounding area, we couldn't be happier! They were all so courteous and did a great job making sure everything was covered up before they started and cleaned up so well afterwards, it was as if no one was there (and no hole)! If we ever have any plastering needs in the future, we would call Bob in a heartbeat.

I found Robert through Angie's List as I needed some drywall repairs in my kitchen and game room. Robert called me back within hours of reaching out to him. I explained in detail what I needed done and texted him over pictures. He came out in a few days to get first hand look of the situation. When he got back to me with a price quote for the entire job, it was much better than I could have expected. His team was very professional and got the job done faster than I expected because I was in a need to have this done quickly .. I would like to state I would offer 100 star review if I could. I would never use anybody else for any type of drywall repairs. His years of experience showed highly of extreme quality work. I would most certainly recommend him to family and friends.

The take away: Impressive! I'd hire him again without any hesitation and will recommend him to anyone who needs plaster work done. I had several areas in my house that needed plaster repaired from a roof leak and from a plumbing drain stack replacement. Other companies wouldn't take on the job or wanted $6K to $8K and a week to do it. Robert came in, took a quick look and some pictures and quoted me at $1,700 and could do it all in one day! Sounded too good to be true, but with all the good reviews he has, I hired him. He wasn't booked up, so I hired him on Monday and he scheduled the work Thursday and then finished everything in a half day. I think everything is done extremely well! The new plaster blends right into the old plaster. And that's the thing - it's plaster. He's able to do it in one day because he puts up sheet rock and plasters over it rather than putting up drywall and putting layers and layers of joint compound on the seams, which requires time to dry, then sanding, repeat. With plaster, you put it on once, smooth it out, let it dry and it's done, and frankly looks better that way. Anyway, I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about the experience and highly recommend Robert!

From my first interaction with Robert and through the whole repair process, I could not have been more pleased. He was timely, responsive, and the work he and his crew did was excellent, leaving my home just as clean when they left. There was no plaster dust! They repaired several places where roof leaks had caused the plaster to collapse, as well as a couple other plaster issues in my 100-year-old home. AND he was reasonably priced. I highly recommend Robert Dell'Aquila Plastering!

Excellent ... Robert promptly came over and provided a reasonable quote to plaster the kitchen ceiling due to an upstairs bathroom leak that resulted in the plumbers knocking it out. Since this is an older home the plaster needed to have a swirl pattern. I also mentioned painting was needed for the fix and Robert brought in his son who does painting. After discussions, I decided to also have the kitchen walls, chair rails, baseboards, and basement stair walls painted. This price too was reasonable. An appointment was made for a week later for the plaster work and the painting a week after that. Robert and his son and the 2 helpers finished the job promptly and professionally. The plaster with the swirl pattern blended in with the rest of the kitchen ceiling nicely.

Very well. I am very happy with their performance. They were punctual, neat, and cleaned up after themselves.

I am on the Board of a historic property on the National Register, The David Bradford House Museum in Washington, PA. I had previously utilized Bobby's company on a ceiling project in my 110-year old house. I was very pleased with the responsiveness, price, and quality of the work performed. When our house museum needed a crack repaired in an 1803 portion of the building, I was given a recommendation of another plasterer, whom I called. He was unavailable as he has retired, but, he recommended Bobby. I remembered Bobby's excellent work and recommended him to our Board. His price was almost half of another bid that we received, and he was ready to do the job immediately. We would not let just anyone work on a historic property, but I could recommend Bobby Dell'Aquila for your 18th, 19th, 20th, or 21st century home. You will appreciate his timely initiation of the job; his very reasonable pricing; and his personable demeanor.

Robert and his crew were wonderful. Extremely responsive and the workmanship was great. We have a 100 year old stucco home and they were able to match the texture. Also extremely reasonable pricing. Really can’t say enough good things about Robert and his guys!

Simply put, Bob (the owner) and his crew were awesome in every measurable way. They score a 100 points on a 10-point scale as far as we are concerned. To begin with, Bob responded to my voice-message within an hour or so...he visited the project location the next day, and provided his written quote within 2 business days. Bob also maintained communication during the period from my initial call to the morning that the work began. Based on DELL'AQUILA PLASTERING's current workload at the time, a tentative date less than 2 weeks out was agreed upon, subject to us completing other work (wiring, plumbing, etc). Bob maintained excellent communication, and called to confirm the start date and arrival time. Bob and his team arrived at 8:30am as promised. Once the drop-cloths were installed from the entrance to the bathroom by the workers, there was a continuous flow as the work moved right along. The project was completed on time and under the budgeted estimate (WOW!). Cleanup was exceptional, as there was nothing that would indicate that a sheet-rock and plaster project had just been completed. Combine all that I have said above, with the friendliness and professionalism of Bob and his Team, and the timeliness and quality of the work completed, and you have a FIVE-STAR COMPANY ready to complete your project!

He called me back quickly, came over to assess the work, gave me an estimate. We scheduled a day to perform the plastering work and he arrived on time, did an excellent job, and charged me the estimate price. I really appreciated the cleanup job afterwards. I recommend this plastering company to others who appreciate excellent service.

Robert and his team were on time-every day. Cleaned house each day after completing portions of work-and final cleaning last day of work. Above and Beyond my expectations.

Robert was responsive from our initial contact through completion of the job. He returned our first call immediately, set an appointment, showed up on time, provided an estimate (which was what we paid), and provided a tentative job completion date which he later confirmed. He And two others showed up as arranged. They did a plaster hard coat for us and the finish was perfect. As important was the cleanup afterwards. We were pleased with the work and would not hesitate to recommend him.

I can't say enough of Robert Dell'Aquila and his team. Our home was built ~ 1902. This was a very involved job, from the removal of damaged plaster ( more extensive than anticipated) , to replacing parts of the ceilings and walls, recovering old fireplaces, to ultimately the real art....the actual plastering. The team arrived on time and worked together seamlessly. They covered and protected furniture. They cleaned the rooms upon completion, as well as all 3 flights of stairs. I came to understand the meaning of master plastering. The new has blended and feathered with the old. The plaster swirls are beautiful making the rooms looking pristine, back to their original state. I couldn't be more pleased. The team of three were professional, courteous and personable. I would definitely hire them again, as well as recommend them for hire.

The work went really well. I was traveling and when I got back there was a lot of water damage around 2 main windows in the house. I had the bricks repointed but needed someone to fix the plaster around the windows. They did a great job, were very polite and cleaned up the mess afterwards.

Robert and team were very professional. The repair looks beautiful and the team was very nice and kept the area very clean. I would highly recommended this team

I'm currently renovating a bathroom that was covered in pink plastic tiles. After I finished clearing everything out of the room, I had Bob come in and re-plaster the walls and ceiling (ceiling was also covered in the plastic tiles). He did a fantastic job! The room was brand new when he was finished. Bob also contacted me a couple times after the job was done a week or two later just to check in on how things are and to make sure I was still satisfied. I will use him again for future plastering and would highly recommend him to others.

Excellent work! Robert is a plaster artisan. Job went very well and with expediency. His crew did timely work and cleaned up well. I would recommend and would hire again.
