"Al was fantastic! He clearly explained that my fireplace was shutting off as a safety feature due to low oxygen levels. He also reassembled the logs in the firebox and showed me the proper way to start and stop the fireplace. Highly recommend his service!"

Customers say: Quality work

"Joe did a great job on repairing my gas fireplace. My pilot light would stay on but my logs would not fire up. Joe called the afternoon before and gave me an approximate time for the next day visit. He call again the morning of and said he was at a site and would be at my home afterward and the time depended on the previous job. He estimated an additional hour to arrive, and he did come on time. After the initial cleaning he tested the fire and it came on but would not stay lit. He diagnosed the wall switch might be bad and it was so he replaced it. Cleaning the glass was needed and appreciated. All is good and working fine. His rate was fair and I enjoyed his customer service. He's a good fellow."

"I would like to say Anthony and his helper for the professionalism job they did on my chimney When I first called the company, I told them my situation that I needed my chimney swept and inspected I also asked a lot of what if questions they found something wrong. The technician explained everything to me that needed to be done before going any further. After taking the pictures, Anthony showed me that sweeping the chimney was not an option and that my vents were off line and carbon and gas was seeking back into my house. They gave me a start date and time frame, They called and gave me an ETA and was on time. Like I said earlier, they were courteous, polite and friendly. Afterwards, they did a great job of cleaning up and asked me to inspect the area to make sure I was satisfied with the clean up. They also sent pictures of the work and what I needed to do to maintain it. Thank you Anthony and Nu Chimney for a job well done and all you do."

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can lay a gas grill flat during transportation. Laying it flat can help prevent it from moving around the truck during the journey. It’s still advisable to secure the grill with bungee cords, just in case.

The difference between a built-in and regular grill is installation and design. A built-in grill is integrated into an outdoor kitchen or structure, often within a countertop or island. It is a permanent fixture. A regular grill is standalone, portable, or cart-mounted, allowing mobility and versatility in placement. Built-in grills are typically larger with more cooking space, while regular grills come in various sizes. Built-in grills are favored for creating a custom outdoor cooking area, while regular grills provide convenience and flexibility.

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.

Safety precautions include proper ventilation, regular inspections for leaks, and ensuring tanks and fittings are in good condition to prevent accidental release or fire hazards.

You can maneuver your gas grill into place, but you cannot connect the grill to your gas source yourself. All municipalities mandate that a certified plumber carry out this work, so you’ll have to reach out to a plumber or a gas grill installation company in your area. Given how dangerous a gas leak can be, gas lines and connections are highly regulated, so you’ll need a professional’s help and a permit to install a gas grill.
