Former Peco Utility gas service man, with 40 years experience in the gas industry. Fast and reliable service, with basic maintenance required yearly on all units in use. Our company won the 2013 HomeAdvisor Award for being one of the best and highly rated pros in the HomeAdvisor network! Currently we do not give free estimates for gas fireplace service work at this time,please call for a phone quote if necessary.
"We have a 25+ year unit. Our pilot light went out approx. 20 years ago. The unit had rusted and was a mess. To replace the unit it would cost over $10,000, which was completely out of the question!!! Found Joe online, walked us through cleaning and painting the unit (also called my fears of painting it on SEVERAL occasions). Came out told me exactly what pieces I needed to order and once recieved returned to install. Joe was very personable, respectful, and prompt. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE ANY DOUBTS ABOUT USING JOE TO FIX YOUR UNIT INSTEAD OF PAYING $10000 for a new!! From start to finish pleased with our repair!!!"

"We hired this contractor almost a year ago to do various projects. The work was supposed to be finished in 10 days according to the contract. We are here almost a year later and there is still work that is unfinished. I paid Martin before all of the work was completed, and I can’t get ahold of him to finish the work now. The pipe still hasn’t been cut, and there is still a huge piece of concrete in our side yard. I’m not sure what to do now."

"Greg and team came by and gave me multiple estimates for our chimney (c. 1950s) with visible chunks of brick and mortar missing from 50+ years of wear and tear. His team decided to only caulk the J channels (for $300 - gougers), and left 6 big gaping holes untouched. Fast forward two months later, we get a leak in the ceiling caused by these holes that should have been filled back when they came by to caulk perfectly fine J channels. Lessons learned: 1) do not trust contractors to do a job right; 2) always inspect after they say "work is done"; 3) just do the job yourself."
