Excellent job

Two men came in a truck at 4:00 pm. One climbed a ladder to the roof. He came back down, went to the truck to fill out the proposal. He came into the house with a handwritten proposal stating: "Patch cement chimney to save money and prevent a full rebuild. Seal all of the cracks in the crown. Waterproof entire chimney top to bottom. Chimney is in really bad shape. The bricks are deteriorating. I suggested doing all of the work to prevent needing a rebuild to save money and this will make it so no more water will be getting in their chimney anymore." The total price on the proposal was $6400 or $6000 if paid same day. He said they have a company who could finance it for us. My husband and I, unfortunately, decided to pay the $6000 with our check. I told them I want a legible copy of the handwritten proposal and pictures of the work they do. They assured us we could get all that by contacting their office. The two men took buckets from the truck and took them up on the roof. They came back down and washed their hands in our kitchen sink. By now it was getting dark and starting to rain. It must have been around 5:30 when they left the house. One man came back and asked to use the bathroom. I showed him the one in the basement. He came back up and they left. The following day I sent them a request for a legible bill and pictures. I received no reply.

Excellent customer service. Technician on time and very efficient would highly recommend Brian Robinson. He cleaned and inspected my chimney as well as clean and expected my gas fireplace logs. Will continue to use them every year for maintenance and cleaning.

They did a great job cleaning the pipe. Also let me know about a couple of things that could become problems if let go too long. I thought they were terrific. They were Prompt (w/call letting me know they were on the way). Cleaned up and let me know all I needed. Would definitely use their services again.

Anthony & James were personable and professional. I would recommend them & Shamrock Chimney to anyone needing fireplace/Chimney work. They were knowledgeable about what they were doing. They took pictures and showed us the work that needed to be done prior to doing the work. We would definitely use them for other things we have to do around the house. I would recommend them to anyone needing work done. Our fireplace hadn’t been used in years so we were grateful that they took care in getting it repaired and working again. Thanks to both Anthony & James for their professionalism & taking care of us. I would definitely get a fireplace & chimney repaired in the summer rather than the winter.

The customer service was outstanding, and the technician was very knowledgeable about the lining system. They provided valuable assistance in helping me understand the process and the necessary actions required.

The installers just need to be more well prepared and more of their own things.

Poor customer service, but the techs seemed like solid guys who did solid work. I was hoping, since most of the bad reviews were from out of state, the local team would be different. Originally quoted $2700 for chimney clean, concrete spray repair for fire box, and cap replacement. Was told could lower the price if agreed to the work same day of quote. Given paperwork for $2700, called back same day and was lowered to $2400 over the phone. I did not request new documentation of the new quote promised over the phone. I scheduled the work. My work was rescheduled twice, receiving a call the day before in each instance. On the day of, guys arrived over an hour early of time window/unexpected without a call beforehand. Work was completed fine, techs were professional. Come to pay, final invoice was for $2700. I explained the discount that was provided. No one knew anything about it. I was told that, generally, they provide a discount if work is scheduled within a week of quote. My work was originally scheduled within a week until they had rescheduled me multiple times. The tech was customer service savvy and made it $2500, saying he would probably hear about it from the people in the office. The work looks solid, so I can not speak to any overt concerns about quality. However, the customer service - retroactive pricing disputes and repeated rescheduling - was not satisfactory. In my case, I think those managing the contracts undermine the effort of the techs doing the work. Which is not uncommon. Would not recommend but would not discourage, as long as you manage the contractor more shrewdly than I did. That said, it is nice when you do not have to.

I was skeptical after reading the reviews, but since most of the negativity was from 2019 i decided to give them a shot. I was given a window of 10-1, and they came around 1130 despite it snowing about 2-3 inches. But the pair were professional, quick, and easy to talk to.

2 very nice young men ( Brian and Logan) came and gave me 2 options to fix my problem. One was more than I could afford so I chose the 2nd option! They immediately fixed my problem! While I was talking to Brian after the job was completed, Logan was out shoveling my sidewalk! They were so nice and polite and put up with an old 79 yr old woman talking their ears off! I would highly recommend them and their company!!?

**************DANGER*********** These people incorrectly installed a chimney liner, putting my family in danger. Not sure how someone can sleep at night after doing such a rip-shod job. Need I say more!!!!!!

These guys are hacks! DO NOT USE THEM ! They are clueless! Tried substituting a pc of galvi stove pipe for stainless steel ,no thru wall connector,single wall pipe thru wall and said it was safe. Got code enforcement officer to look at their work. Said it was a danger to life and property, don't use it! Stay away from this company at all cost! Unless you don't value you life!

Great ppl

Showed up on time. Very pleasant to work with. Inspected chimney and flue - found problems and fixed them, all in one day, with minimal inconvenience and at a reasonable cost. Michael and Joseph were great!

A very knowledgeable, efficient, and responsible crew of two arrive promptly as scheduled. Their workmanship more than met my expectation. I will be calling Shamrock C&C Inc,in the future and would recommend them. A job well and professionally done. Thank you Justin and Chris.

Both Joseph and Mike were very personable. Joseph was great about explaining what was needed and both kept us informed about their progress. They were meticulous about cleaning up as well. This is the second year we have hired Shamrock and plan to do so again next year.

Omar, from Shamrock Chimney, was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He repaired our chimney, and cleaned it. No mess at all. Very pleased with the service.
