"We hired this contractor almost a year ago to do various projects. The work was supposed to be finished in 10 days according to the contract. We are here almost a year later and there is still work that is unfinished. I paid Martin before all of the work was completed, and I can’t get ahold of him to finish the work now. The pipe still hasn’t been cut, and there is still a huge piece of concrete in our side yard. I’m not sure what to do now."

Fast forward two months later, we get a leak in the ceiling caused by these holes that should have been filled back when they came by to caulk perfectly fine J channels. Lessons learned: 1) do not trust contractors to do a job right; 2) always inspect after they say "work is done"; 3) just do the job yourself."
