He suggested the right place to buy the paint which provided a discount and also paint color and selection advice as well. Henry also discussed the different approaches to the trim. Because so much work was being done, we had questions about access to rooms and cleanup and removal of supplies. Henry explained exactly how the work was going to be done and assured us that everything would be cleaned to perfection. He was right on that. The finished work looked spectacular. One of the best treats was that Henry's quote was very reasonable - not the highest. A few months later my 91 year old mother wanted her house painted. I didn't hesitate in recommending Henry. "The CertaPro painting crew communicated their schedule before starting and met their schedule, weather permitting. The crew respected our preferred start time each day. Equipment was stored neatly at the end of each day. Our house is covered in Hardy cement board shingles and requires exceptional attention to detail to prevent drips. This complication was handled perfectly and the process was not rushed. The rear of the property required painting at up to 30 feet high from ladders. The crew showed excellent ladder safety practices and took no shortcuts. All of the workers were polite, friendly and diligent. I do not give 5 star ratings unless they are well earned. "The contractor, Sean Hunter, is very friendly and a hard worker. He let me know what needed to be done and why, and he gave me a reasonable estimate. My two decks were badly in need of cleaning and staining and even needed minor repairs for nails sticking up out of the wood. Sean completed the power washing one day, and then he came back and finished the entire staining on another day. He seems to really care about doing a good job and he is a good communicator. He will call you to let you know when he will be there and he is very honest. I would use Sean again in the future for any deck maintenance work I might need."

The job has been finished for about 5 months now.  And it still looks great.  We supplied the paint.  He supplied the talent.  The price was the best quote we got, and the work outstanding.  We had another painter do the garage trim. What a mess he was.  Mike scraped, primed, painted fast and efficiently, and when he was finished, the job was expertly done.  He took great care as he worked around my gardens.  Not one plant was injured.  My mulch didn't have little white chips throughout it.  One side of our house has a very steep pitch, and the trim had some rotten areas and a few holes, and he filled them in and they look very smooth.

Another thing that he did was offer a few suggestions that I hadn't thought of, like painting the underside of a shingle black (was white before) so it looked uniform.  He was also willing to paint some extra things that were not a part of the quote. 

He was friendly, and would hire him again.
