Painted sixteen exterior shutters on my house. Great customer service. Grover discussed with me the color and type of paint to use. He and his team showed excellent workmanship, cleaned up when finished and ensured I was satisfied with the job. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely use again.

Grover and Rasheed did a great job for us. We started removing wallpaper and got in over our heads. We also had some drywall to hang. I called Grover on Thursday and we met on Saturday and he and the team REALLY got us out of a mess. They were professionals and we spent 2 days on that wallpaper and drywall and they came into our mess, and cleaned it up and finished everything in 5 hours. I will definitely hire them again they were lifesavers!

Grover and his team showed up and painted all the exterior trim of our one story ranch in two days from red to blue. Overall the job looks pretty good, especially from the street. Up close there are areas that were not prepped as good as I would have expected but they will likely hold up fine to the elements. Repairs to the wood fascia were all done with filler and caulking, even on larger areas. From the ground these look okay and I think will keep water out, but replacement of rotting areas of boards would have been a better fix and I think would have been more more in line with what we paid. The quote had two coats of SW Duration. The paint used, SuperPaint, while good was not what was quoted. There are also a few small spots that I will need to touch up with the left over paint, but that may just be the perfectionist in me. The job did feel a little rushed. While I don't think R&G did a bad job, I would shop around a bit more in the future. Paid 1/3 up front, and the rest after the job. Grover asked if we could pay some with cash, which we did, and the rest with check. The cashed check was not for the correct amount however and I am working with the bank to fix. I will assume this was an honest mistake though.

These men destroyed my home, smashed my new appliances. The one man was drinking outside my home, washing out brushes, left paint all over my house. Runs and drips everywhere, no prep work at all, No Sanding. my staircase is a mess, drips, runs, grey paint on white, visa versa, it’s not even covered. i paid them , they were supposed to come back fix stairs and clean the mess up they made on front of house. I didn’t notice my fridge and stove, till next day, they were here very late. hardly no painting got done the first day, because they don’t really have 3 man, just 2. so the second day was a rush and mess and exhausting. I spoke with them about stove, he only wanted to replace panel. my stove is bran new and is smashed and scratched, and so is fridge. i tried to be nice, the damage to fridge is minimal, but my stove needs replaced. They were supposed to come back friday September 15. and never showed up. now they won’t answer any communication from me or Angie list, so now i’m hiring a attorney to sue them. i’m a disabled Woman, i can’t believe what happened to me. this was my first and last experience with Angie List, if someone doesn’t help me.. R&G Paints exceeded my expectations. They gave me in my opinion a more than reasonable price. For the amount of work that they had to do. They completely transformed the exterior of my house. I highly recommend using them.

Very disappointed. Left 25+drips (125 sq ft area)several surfaces not painted, paint bleed on 2 antique wood columns,half painted toilet paper holder not to be painted and didn’t bother to unscrew the light switch holder Really.

We recently hired Grover Walden to restain our deck. They were prompt courteous and easy to communicate with. He was able to give us an estimate as soon as he came to assess the job. It was a very fair price, right in the range that we were hoping for and expecting. He got us scheduled without delay, and they were able to complete the entire deck in a few days. (pressure washing and painting) They even removed our grill and our deck furniture themselves and put them back at the completion of the job. We loved the previous color of our deck, which was a custom color, and they were able to match it perfectly. They took care to keep the area clean and draped everything that might get paint splatter. Most importantly, the deck turned out looking great. They did a fantastic job on it. All in all, really friendly folks with a great work ethic. We recommend them without reservation.
