"I called Zack and he said he would be happy to look at it, and he would call me the following week when his schedule allowed. He called and set up a time. He came out, looked at the problem, cleaned the gutters, and installed a filter on the front problem area. He said that the reason it would stay fixed was because of the trees near that part of the gutter/downspout area. The sticks and leaves thrown by the sycamore particularly were causing a blockage. The filter sits in the downspout and sticks up a bit so the twigs don't catch the leaves so much. The diagnosis appears to have been right! The last two rains there has been no spattering or erosion!
