"Someone from Planet Roof came to my parents' house to give them an estimate for a roof (shingle) replacement (1,900 sf). After spending over an hour looking around, the gentleman gave my dad an estimate for $37,000! After my dad declined, he then dropped his estimate 2 more times and said the lowest he can go is $14,000. When my dad asked why he didn't start that low, he replied "well some people will pay the $37,000". He also went on to tell my dad how this was an investment, and he wouldn't get anything lower (keep in mind my dad is a disabled senior on a fixed income). When my dad told him he already received a quote from another company for $8,500 - he was followed by questions of who was that cheap and asked why my dad would even have him come out (when every company should know that most people would/should get multiple estimates). Do NOT recommend this company!"

Along with Eric being very detailed on what was going on and what to expect. The guys cleaned up after themselves and Jason and Eric came back for a final sweep! Amazing work and awesome team. "I will start off with the initial dealing with MHI Roofing in Bethel Park PA. Our Condo Community had all the roofs on 6 buildings of total 39 units re shingled in June of 2024 to the tune of nearly $140,000. They were fast and efficient. However, a few weeks down the road we had some issues with items that should have been done as requested. Called the Site Supervisor, Cam Kinnee, submitted the service request, and it took over a month to get this service done and completed. A few weeks later, we had heavy winds and a flue cap blow off, mind you, these flue caps were original from 1974 and were in horrible shape. They should have been replaced, but MHI just painted the old ones. So, I contact Cam Kinnee again, he schedules service, this took another month to get this taken care of, or so I thought. Fast forward to January 2025, some winds blew another flue cap off, I contacted Cam Kinnee once more, he was unable to do anything, as he was in a training class. During my wait for him to return my message from Jan 22, 2025 to Feb 3, 2025. Still not service on the first flue cap by the way!... March 11, 2025 another flue cap on another unit had blown off. I contacted Cam once again, he said he would let his office know. I get a response from Cam informing me that he no longer works for MHI Roofing. Since then I have called MHI numbers about 20 times at MHI Office in Mt Lebanon, I have left messages, no returned calls, no one answers the phone... I am so frustrated with MHI. If you plan to use this company... Please reconsider... Once they have your money they do not service their work! Very disappointed! BEWARE OF MHI!!"

Also, they discovered that a previous contractor had not vented the exhaust fan properly and fixed that at no charge. I recommend DRS to my family and friends and they have been satisfied as well. "I worked with Sal Izzo on my roof project after having wind damage during the March storms. Sal was right out to inspect the damage and worked with me on getting my roof tarped and waterproof before additional damage could be done. The crew who came and replaced the roof were fast and experienced in their craft and completed the work in 1 day. When completed you could not tell they were even there other than the new roof that was installed. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Sal and Shell Restoration and plan on having them return to replace windows in my home."
