"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. They were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job on all of the aspects of the project. Communication with them was easy, clear and accurate. Reliant gas lines is a natural gas service line repair or replacement company. I handle the buried portion of the service line from curb stop to meter and the buried house line if the meter is far away from the house. I do a good job at a fair price, am qualified for both Peoples Gas and Columbia Gas and fully insured. As a small owner operator business I can be flexible on scheduling as these types of problems tend to be emergencies. "These people did some work on a sewage pipe in our driveway on the home right before we bought it. A part of our driveway started to crumble and we contacted them. On multiple occasions, who I believe is the owner and the woman who works in the front office, claimed they would put us on the schedule to have the work repaired and yet months and months go by and they never put us on the schedule. All they had to do was say "we are not coming to fix your driveway." Instead, they continued to play games and act as if they were. We even gave them another job at our house while we were waiting and they were happy to accept that money. Never again. My suggestion is to not use this company."
