"We hired Lucas, owner of OCD Handyman, to do various small jobs on our house since we were planning on putting it on the market. We paid Lucas $25,000. He told us all his work comes with a warranty. He gave us a 3 year warranty on waterproofing a section in the crawl space. Immediately after the job was done it rained and water came in. Lucas told us we should regrade. We let him regrade and paid him additional money. It rained again and water came in again. When we contacted him about the water he gave us many reasons for this. We asked him why we gave him more money if he knew the regrading would not work. He did not have an answer. He also installed a fence which fell apart. He said he would fix the fence and give us a partial refund for the regrading. Several months have passed and he has not repaired the fence or send us back the refund that he promised. Lucas will give you a warranty on his work but it is not worth anything. Lucas worked for us for approximately 3 months straight and we gave him a lot if money because he portrays himself as being a honest person, obviously he is not. If there is a problem with his work he will not fix it. Unfortunately we are going to have to sue him to get our money back. This is not what i wanted to do. Donâ t believe anything he says!!!!"

It took another month for him to even look at our file. He made promises he didn't keep. Of course we paid in full. He stopped replying regarding the partial refund (We wanted $500-$750 on a 4.5k bill) and I've decided to just make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. I'm a business owner myself and I would never treat a client this way. Shameful."
