Do NOT work with The Repair Squad here in Delaware. They started work and then stopped showing up. Months and months we got excuses or they would show up for 5 minutes and then leave. Weeks would go buy and we would have to reach out to the owner, Wayne, for an update. We had to reach out for anything to happen. After several months of this, we finally decided to cut ties and asked for a very reasonable amount of money back so we could finish the job and fix the window leak. It took another month for him to even look at our file. He made promises he didn't keep. Of course we paid in full. He stopped replying regarding the partial refund (We wanted $500-$750 on a 4.5k bill) and I've decided to just make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. I'm a business owner myself and I would never treat a client this way. Shameful.

Had Wayne and crew do extensive renewals and repairs to my parents early 90’s style time capsule of a house. Modernizing the kitchen and bathroom as well converting the garage door to a wall with a window and door. The Repair Squad did a great job while dealing with the trials of supplies due to covid. Wayne kept me updated on all progress as well as offering creative solutions for staying in my budget. Highly Recommended!

1) One of the three roof vents worked on is now leaking more. 2) Antenna was attached to the roof, and not the eave as requested simply because the work crew truck didn't have a long enough ladder to safely do the work. I agreed to crew request to attached over shingles as an alternative.

If one continued leaking we would have likely recommended replacement. We discussed optional placement for antenna (in our crew notes) but if you were not agreeable, we could have rescheduled this when additional equipment was available. Again, if there is a problem most folks just let us know and we are always happy to follow up. Not sure why this was not the next step but never our intent to leave any customer dis-satisfied. Excellent work done, roof repair was quick and professional. The water damage repair was tricky due to a high ceiling and limited space (was in a bathroom). The painters did a terrific job and we very conscientious about cleaning up after the work was done. Highly recommend, service was great throughout.

This company, represented by Wayne, was a pleasure to deal with. They set a schedule and maintained it. Any changes were discussed with notification provided. The final product was performed well with quality. I have performed over 6 complete building renovations over the years but this is my first time working with this company - at my mothers home. I have experience with contractors and have been impressed by this companies process and communication. Obviously based on my experience i would recommend them.

the job went well and the results are quite satisfactory. wayne and the crew were highly professional and pleasant to work with. they had to remove the old, narrow side porch and save as many of the clay tiles as possible for reuse. the construction was well planned and executed. there was easy communication with wayne and his associates and in general, there was consultation with us. the only quibble we had was that in a few instances wayne made some decisions without consulting with us. for example, some of the materials used (metal sheathing vs. exposed wood) were decided by wayne without our input. as it turned out, we are satisfied with the look and feel of the porch, so his decision did not cause problems, but we might have chosen otherwise, if presented with chhoices. in the future, i would pay closer attention to such details and request options. another problem we ran into, not wayne's fault, was that we ended up short on the number of clay tiles. these were of an old vintage, and wayne had great difficulty in finding suitable replacements. this search went on for close to a year, until wayne fabricated the missing tiles from residual tile fragments. this part of the project was not resolved when the porch was done, and we got quite frustrated calling wayne repeatedly to finish the job (it WAS finished, except for the missing tiles, and we were enjoying the new porch). over all, i would use wayne's services again and would recommend him to others.

We have a stucco house so we had them install flashing in several areas and were told it would prevent further leaking issues. They also replaced a window which we were told would fix that leaking issue as well. Turns out, none of this fixed our leaking issues and we recently found out from a stucco professional that the flashing was done incorrectly. Which is no surprise since the caulk they used is visibly disappearing and now holes are showing.

"We understand the concern you have here and since we did respond to the Window issue on 10/15/17 and came out to do some additional troubleshooting & repair, we would have appreciated a response from you if the matter was not fully resolved. In your development, there are very known stucco issue as you discussed with us. Stucco, if not done correctly from install, can cause problems and even class action suits against installers etc... it is sometimes very difficult to repair with out complete removal. We were trying to save you from spending extreme amounts of money by doing these repairs without complete re-construction from top to bottom etc... We also provide a 1 yr repair warranty and would have been happy to come back out if you would have called or emailed again. We sincerely regret any ongoing issues you had, we do take our business seriously and do wish to resolve issues as soon as they happen, but we do need to know. Wish you the best. THE REPAIR SQUAD"

They did quite a bit of work for me. Â They did pretty good. Â They've been doing work for me for almost a year now. Â They did all of this work within a week and half. Â The guy was very professional. Â He had done other work also before. Â So they've sent the same guy. Â They are very professional. Â They are very careful. Â They have a lot of attention to details because the cabinets take a lot of attention to detail so he did that. Â He makes sure things are done right if he has to spend more time to make sure because sometimes the floors are not quite level, so he makes sure that those cabinets are level. Â When they put the lights on he just makes sure that he cuts just exactly the right amount off of the ceiling. Â He makes sure everything is cut right, that he cuts the cables right. Â The quality of workmanship basically, I really like that. Â I think he did pretty good job. Â I was there all the time so he would just talk to me and make sure everything is done the way I would like it. Â If there was something that I didn't like it, he would just re-do it. Â I can't think of anything that I would say that he could improve on because he did it exactly the way I wanted it. Â On price there are people who would ask me a lot more money than what they have charged me. Â It was very good pricing. Â On punctuality, it took me a while to get them to come in and do the work.

Beyond great Wayne was always available for questions and he worked around my schedule, which at the time, was insane. I highly recommend The repair squad to everybody for their outstanding service and very good and reasonable pricing. I called to many firms to request the pricing for the job, I even paid to another company $35 to come to my house to see what needs to be done - all of them gave me such a high price, I was shocked, I knew that the work cannot cost twice more than the toilets and vanity I purchased. I called the repaid squad and they gave me the price I hoped to get. I called them during the busies time and they asked me if it is ok with me to wait a week before they cam come a do the job. I said of course yes! it was worth of waiting for just a week! Guys, you are the best!

Every person in the process was very good from Wayne who did the the estimate, to Tony, to Pete. The person they sent to do the work, Pete, was excellent. He is professional, clean, and most importantly really knows his trade. Pete has great communication skills and made suggestions about laying the tile which enhanced the pattern. I have more jobs for Repair Squad and can't wait for the next phase.
