The supervisor Joe was very clear and quick in understanding the scope of the work, and in explanation to my questions. He communicated very clear before the work started and after the work was done. The crew worked hard, and no loud music which was greatly appreciated as my whole family worked and studied at home at the time. What I liked the most was that both Joe and the crew were happy to do what I requested, such as a little bit of extra caulking and patching here and there, even after they already used up the mixed concrete. "Came to my residence, took measurements, contacted a metal fabricator to who also came to my residence to review the work needed ,made the door from aluminum and installed it. O'Dell contracting called me to follow up and tell me when job would be completed.This is a reliable contractor who kept in contact to let me know the date it would be installed. After the job was completed he contacted me to ask if the work was satisfactory.I would recommend this contractor for any home remodeling.He is to be graded as an A-1 Contractor."

"I put my old Victorian house on the market this summer, and it sold in two days!. I must give credit to S.L. Contractors and wonderful job they did remodeling my house. I got their name from Angie’s List four years ago. My first project was the painting of all the exterior windows. I have three floors. They even repainted the rusty grills at my basement windows. That wasn’t a big job, because the jobs kept getting bigger. Then I had my old pantry converted into a powder room. My next project was the biggest one - removing all the knob and tube wiring and then replacing the plaster with drywall and finally adding can lighting. What I love the most is my new kitchen. The kitchen sold the house! It was exactly what I wanted. Mr. Washington, general contractor, over the years has been a source of information about quality construction. He was kind of a design consultant for the remodel job for the kitchen. When discussing the size of the island, he said “No one ever says the island is too big.” He worked with me and was flexible as I selected decorative touches from retail stores and online. My kitchen was a challenge. It had pine wood paneling and the layout didn’t work. Mr. Washington changed the appliance layout. I needed my hallway tiles to match my kitchen floor. Mr. Washington searched and found tiles in Texas that matched perfectly. I had a positive experience with S.L. Contractors."

"You do not come across people like Hunter very often. I found him on Craigslist of all places! I had scheduled my hardwood floor to be refinished only to have my original contractor cancel because he couldn’t complete as promised. Well, I reached out to Hunter and boy, did he and his dad come through. They got to my job on Monday and completed the job by Thursday! Being I was out of town, Hunter was sending me pictures of the progress. I was shocked at how nice the floors looked in the picture! Well, when I returned from being away about a week later, I went to inspect the floors. Wholly crap these guys are very good! Not only are they good, they are honest, punctual and a pleasure to work with. Oh, and get this: he did the work with a nickel down AND we never, even now, met in person. Everything was dine in the phone. No, Hunter didn’t pay me for this review. He deserved this review, and I wanted to make sure I have it to him. I highly recommend Hunter and his dad."

"Noelle from the BKG Design North Hills location was a godsend. I can't say enough good things about her professionalism, patience, and skill in designing my kitchen. The only thing I regret is not having BKG install them as well. I began a home remodel in May 2016 and had a nightmare of an experience with the contractor, but Noelle worked around that and was still assisting me until May of 2017 - almost a year after the cabinets were delivered in June 2016. Due to mistakes by the contractor, I had to order additional materials three times, and Noelle and BKG were most accommodating. One of the cabinet doors was damaged and they replaced it with no hassle after almost a year. My cabinets are beautiful and I'm very happy with them. I would certainly recommend BKG Design for remodeling needs."
