"They did an excellent and thorough job. It was done last fall and I will be hiring them again this coming Spring so that they can seal what they installed as well as seal the pre-existing part of our asphalt driveway."

Customers say: Super punctual

"Excellent job. Rick & Son and two employees replaced a sagging driveway retaining wall with 6 x 8 treated timbers. They arrived on time the morning of July 26. The wall was replaced, the plants behind the wall were preserved, the wall looks good and strong, and clean up was complete. A job very done well, timely and professionally."

"Ben and his crews are absolutely fantastic!!! Always on time, phenomenal work - fair pricing and always on top of things. Twice, because of weather restrictions during the week, they actually came and took care of my yard on Holidays (Mother’s Day & Easter). The landscaping they do is always first rate and they never cut corners…..6 Stars…if that’s an actual rating. Hire Them!!!!!"

Customers say: True professional

"Bryers Asphalt Paving responded immediately to my request for a quote! The owner met with me within 4 hours, and after inspecting my asphalt driveway, explained how the cracks and surface would be repaired and sealed. I agreed with the very reasonable cost and booked an appointment for the next day. Two Bryers employees came at the agreed-on time and completed a first-class job in less than three hours. Cracks were repaired with 400 degrees hot rubberized oil and the entire driveway was sealed with professional oil-based sealer. The results are an excellent job which will last for years. Thank You Bryers Sealing !"

"when i contacted him and told him to comeback and just touch up a few places that i felt needed some further touch up. He came back , looked at the job he had done and felt. it would be better if he just redid the whole driveway. Which he did as i say . I can't imagine. commit a contractor coming back just to do some touch up work and then completely doing the whole job again. I was not aware that this contractor was any way associated with Angi. I wish i did a web search online. and it happen to find him online."

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

Depending on project size, typically 1 to 3 days, including preparation and installation.

In the United States, roads are usually categorized as one of three types: public roads, other drivable roads, and non-drivable roads. These categories dictate how a road can be used; a non-drivable road might be classified that way because it is heavily damaged and unsafe for cars.

Regular cleaning, sealing, and timely repair of cracks help maintain its condition.

The cost to pour a driveway apron depends on the material and size. Concrete costs $3 to $10 per square foot, asphalt ranges from $2 to $5, and pavers are $5 to $15 per square foot. Additional expenses, like excavation, base material, and labor, can increase the total cost. For example, a standard 12x15-foot concrete apron could cost between $540 and $1,800, depending on local rates and additional work required. Always consult a local driveway paving contractor to get an accurate estimate tailored to your project.

You should not attempt to install your own driveway. Whether working with asphalt or pavement, this is a complicated project that requires special equipment. Talk to some nearby asphalt or paving professionals and discuss your particular needs—it’s a good idea to get a few quotes and look at the company’s past work.
