We have used Dan and his crew for many projects at our home. From repairing our slate roof, painting our porch roofs, and installing new windows. All work was completed in the highest quality. I would highly recommend them for any of your projects.

Reasonably priced great worksmanship and done right when they said it would be done

I have multiple properties, and McCauley Construction is my first call for all types of projects and repairs. Dan is always professional and keeps his work site neat and orderly. His prices are great, and I couldn't be happier with his craftsmanship.

I have used McCauley Construction since 2010 for various home improvements and repairs. Once again McCauley Construction provided dependable services. And once again I have nothing but praises and gratitude for McCauley Construction and their workmanship.

Great work at a reasonable price! Called the day before and Dan and his associate came out early the next day and provided an estimate to repair or replace the roof ridge vent. Both quotes were reasonable. Had another roofer provide an estimate an hour later and their estimates were double the price. Immediately called Dan back and he was able to fit me in his work schedule the next day. He came early the next morning and made the repair and sent me the photos of before and after the repair. I was very pleased with his company's professionalism and work. I would highly recommend McCauley Construction LLC.

I had a very difficult leak that no one seemed to want to tackle. Dan had to come several times to fix the problem. He stayed with it and finally found the leak. I would recommend him to anyone.

Contractor followed up inquiry very fast, and within hours was at the home. Provided a very reasonable estimate and did the repair within the hour. Also provided an estimate on roof replacement at my request. Very very happy with the communication and timely response. I'm keeping their name on file for sure!

Awful. I live in a duplex and my neighbor had some leaking from the roof. She called this company and they came out and did a "patch" on the roof. At that time they told her that our 12 year old roof is in terrible condition and needed major work performed. A few days later it rained and it leaked again. He was very confrontational with me when I went out to see what happened and said he would not charge us for this second "patch"! I should hope not! I had two other roofing companies come out to give us quotes and both of them were astonished at the "patch" job that was done. They showed us pictures and they were absolutely awful. Both companies said that the patch job was "embarrassing" to say the least. They also indicated that, other than some minor repairs, the roof is in excellent shape. I have nothing good to say about this experience and am disgusted that we paid for this "work".

My insurance company requested I get the roof repaired or they would drop me. The roof is only 7 years old. The original roof installer showed up on 2 occasions and attempted to fix the leak; however it continued to leak into my house and water dripped on the floor in my hallway when the rain fell heavily. Dan lifted a few shingles and discovered the problem. He was honest about what the original contractor "did" and "did not" do correctly. He installed water shield under the faulty shingles and replaced the shinges that he removed. The next time I need a new roof, I will definately be calling Dan. He is prompt, professional and productive in his workmanship.

We  have nothing but good to say about McCauley Construction. Very reliable, trustworthy, and courteous. The quality of work is outstanding. Dan McCauley is a  very, very honest and a very talented man. Our home was built in 1945 and has some very unique woodwork - some of it needed repaired and the work completed was amazing.  Dan told me when he bid he job that my home would look like a new home - hard to believe with an older house - and when I saw the finished work -  it does look like a newer home. We could not be happier with McCauley Construction.  Once again we are very, very pleased.   With McCauley Construction - you get what you pay for and then some.  We have had McCauley Construction do other work on our home -  remodeled our kitchen -inclusive of  our new cabinet construction - built by Dan .  Again superior work.  We have also used Dan to repair our slate roof and also to replace a flat roof. We value his expertise and his attention to detail.

I called McCauley Construction on Saturday, March 8th, to arrange an estimate to repitch two rain gutters on our home that were identified needing repair on our home sale inspection. I talked to Dan, and he was actually finishing up a job and said he was close by and would stop by for an estimate. He arrived a short time later, assessed the problem, told me what was needed to correct the problem, and gave me an estimate. He also offered to repair the gutters then since he had the time and it would save me a service call fee. Dan did an exceptional job of identifying and fixing the problem immediately, professionally, and was reasonably priced.

Update as of 9/21/2013: The repairs that Dan performed are still holding strong, and we haven't had a drop of water come through, despite many heavy storms. After Dan performed the repairs, we had a repairman from the company that originally installed our windows come out, and he was FAR less useful than Dan from McCauley had been. But even he admitted that Dan had done an excellent job re-sealing the windows, and was impressed that he had been able to do it during a downpour.

Dan McCauley was very quick to come out to look at the situation and give me an estimate. Once I agreed to their estimate and hired them to do the work, they were on the job within 2 days and the job was complete in 2 days, even in the cold weather we were experiencing at the time. I am very satisfied with their response time, both for the estimate and the actual work. I appreciate a contractor who does what they say they will do. I am very happy with all aspects of their service and will recommend them to anyone needing this kind of work or any other remodeling or repair work around the house.

I’d call these guys in a heartbeat. They do all kinds of stuff. There are two different cables and he said it wasn’t flashed right. He thought he could make due so he didn’t have to rip off the whole roof and charging me an arm and a leg, and it worked. He made it to where there was no seem. He was out of here in like 45 minutes, and I was happy as a clam. He was straight forward. He seemed like a no nonsense kind of guy. I saw on his card that he does other things and I told him I would keep him in mind. I would use him again. There wasn’t a lot of fluff. He explained things in laymen terms. He said here is the problem and what I can try. He said there was no guarantee but the alternative is to rip off half the shingles and redo everything, and decided to try the cheap way first. My wife called and they were able to make time for us like that. He said he was going to be here at a certain time and he was here. There wasn’t even a window, he said 10:45 and he was here at that time.
