"This was an urgent matter with no heat and the temperature inside the home dropping. I contacted this company, told Joe the situation, and he came the same day. Joe was very understanding, professional and saw the urgency. The furnace was old and needed a conversion unit installed to avoid having me to pay for a costly new furnace. He contacted the parts supplier, who needed to have the unit shipped to them the next morning. In the meantime Joe suggested an alternative heat source that I borrowed from my neighbor. The next morning (Christmas Eve) Joe was on his way and completed the conversion replacement to restore the heat. Thanks to Joe the heat has been working great and done at a fair price!"

"I had a very hard time finding someone to fix my HVAC - dehumidifier in my home. I finally found Hud Mechanic. Bill contacted the manufacturer of the unit & figured it out. Bill also installed a water holding tank to my well and also replaced my hot water heater. I then asked if he did carpentry which I had an unfinished closet I wanted done. He put up walls,, installed a shelf & a bar & then painted it. He also installed kitchen wall cabinets. Whenever I called his Secretary with a question, she checked with Bill right away & got back to me immediately. I recommend HUD Mechanic for all your repair/install needs! "The job was delayed by due to abnormally cold weather, however once the work was started it was completed in a professional and timely manner. For example: the unit was being installed in a garage/workshop. When asked my opinion on some duct work that had been installed, I replied that it looked real good and added why be so picky since it was in a garage. The answer was that the job would be done right and they took pride in their work. Excellent answer! I was extremely impressed with the clean up on completion. I would highly recommend Keith to anyone considering HVAC work and are looking for a professional that takes pride in his work."

"We requested service for our heat and a/c since it seemed to have a problem. The technician located the issue in a very short time and informed us that a new blower/fan needed to be ordered. After one week and not hearing anything from them I called and was informed that they would check and call back that day. After not hearing from them, I called again the next day and was finally told that the service was scheduled. The same technician came and installed the part, serviced the furnace and a/c. The total cost was nearly $100.00 less than originally estimated. 5 stars for the work that was done, but customer service response downgraded the overall score. Still HIGHLY RECOMMENDED​."

"They arrived on time. Responded with 3 personnel. They removed the old freon immediately and removed the outside and inside unit. It was hot and humid, but they did not complain. The attic is no place for a human in this heat. They prepared the site for the new air handler, installed it quickly and had the system up and cooling in no time.
A slight problem arose after they left at 6 PM in the evening, and they sent a very gracious and professional technician and in fact the installation supervisor responded, after hours!
They had the system running again, and found a faulty part was the problem, not their fault.
The next day they came back to see if the system was working correctly and even cleaned the area of the install more and they did not have to, they gave 110%.
I use and would use UGI for all my heating, cooling needs, they are excellent.
