I have used Robert Berry in the past and was pleased he was available to paint for me again. ( My neighbor was so impressed he hired him last year too). Robert gave me the estimates and came the following 2 weeks- 2 days each week. The painting is excellent. He is courteous and respected my property. I would definitely hire again.

Extremely poor. I don't often write reviews. Like most people, if a contractor meets my expectations and does a good job, I don't take the time to write a review. I felt the need to write this one. We have had several contractors work on our house in the last year as we went through some upgrades. I did decide to write reviews for the ones that went above and beyond in terms of expectations. Unfortunately this is NOT one of those. Got 3 estimates and chose "Just in Time Painting" because Justin told me he had worked for bigger companies and branched out on his own 5 years ago. I like giving new young businesses a chance, so I went with him. MISTAKE. He needs more experience in both professionalism and quality. I, the homeowner, had to point out blatant quality issues that should have never happened.... flaking paint that I could get up with my fingernail AFTER they scraped, painting over flaking paint, not adequate coverage, areas not painted at all. It was extremely frustrating. When he said they would be done by the afternoon of the first day, I questioned their optimism and speed and said I was very concerned about the quality of the job, not the time. You simply can't do a quality job on 50 windows in a few hours but that was their plan. They did slow down and took another day but it was still shoddy and I am STILL finding areas that were completely missed. I work in commercial design/construction so I know quality painting and have seen it many times. This was not it. He kept telling me to "wait for the final product"..... in painting you can't ignore the process.... the prep work and inspection of the prep work is the key to successful repainting of any old surfaces. He also told me that the parts of the window that were previously painted but didn't show when the window is closed is "extra" and not part of typical window painting. Wait/what? So when you open the sash/casement only 1/2 of the sill would be painted? NOT typical. I do NOT recommend them.... and I don't say that often. Maybe they would be OK on an interior wall with no trim but not on windows for sure! Sorry....I hope you can improve your quality so you can survive as a business. If they would like to come back and do a better job, I will edit/remove my review but I rely on reviews and assume others do too, so this was important to say.... A few pictures to show the "finished product". I would have stopped payment of the check but he quickly cashed it.

  • The ABL Group
    5.0
I would say that ABL was hands down the best and most responsive contractor we have worked with in our 15 years in the area. We requested a pretty fast turnaround on this work and they not only met our hoped for deadline, they beat it by a day. ABL President Howard Lipsky personally came and quoted the job, taking time to explain each portion of the quote in language a regular person could understand. Then, Howard checked in with his crews (and with us) at the house at least once daily and often a couple times each day. We have been employing a significant number of contractors to do various jobs for us these past few months. All did good work, but only Howard and ABL made us feel like they cared as much as we did about every facet of the project. This was really refreshing. We recommend them without reservation and they would be the first folks we would call if something new came up tomorrow.

Great Very good communication with job supervisor and very good communication with job foreman. Had good updates with the project considering I was not always at the site. To top it off, when job supervisor stopped to check the final result he offered to help us move some very heavy furniture onto property. Without his help we would not have been able to accomplish. Way above the call of duty.

Tim was extremely instrumental in in the design and layout of my remodel. He is a perfectionist which makes his work not only excellent but if we ran in to a issue or probe was able to come up with alternatives. Tim is a true craftsman which is rare these days. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else going they this project with me. Thank you Tim!

We had hired Dave Lane before to do some interior repairs on our house and were very happy with him, so when we needed to do some repairs to the house before putting it on the market, we didn't want anyone else. He was very busy with other jobs, but he managed to fit us in. He did all the work after we had moved out and the house was vacant, so we weren't around to witness the work being done, but we knew from the past that we could trust him to do a good job. When we were able to inspect the work afterward, we were not disappointed. Dave takes pride is his work and always does his best. In our experience, he works very quickly and always gets the work done when he says he will, or sooner. Admittedly, he seems to be very busy lately, most likely because people have been happy with his work, so it is harder for him to schedule you in on short notice, but when he does set a date, he has always followed through. He was very responsive and informative. Even with being hundreds of miles away, we always knew what was going on. Anytime we would write him via email, he would respond very quickly and he was usually available by phone. He even sent us pictures of the work as it was in progress and when it was complete because we couldn't be there to see it in person. Our only regret is that we no longer live in the area so we cannot hire him in the future.

  • Balcones Painting
    5.0
Balcones Painting painted my garage in 2017 and my house in 2018. They also did some wood replacement, and some electrical work as well. Michael did a great job with everything. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time to answer any questions you might have. If you want high quality work at a reasonable price, then I would definitely give Balcones Painting a call.

Balcones did a great job. Communication was excellent. Michael came and gave us an estimate and told us when he could do the job. Called when he was available and set up a time to complete. Was very punctual and finished quickly and neatly. Pricing was extremely reasonable. I would definitely hire Balcones again.

Had the garage plastered and paints. Once it was finished, Jim felt the floor needed painted to make it look good. He was right. The garage looks great and Jim did a fantastic job.
